Born & raised in Philadelphia, the duo TWYNN who is made up of Shardae & Ayanna met at a young age. With their mothers being best friends of 15 years, the duo grew up alongside each other which led to the beginning of their rap careers. Although they started their careers individually in their teens, the two didn’t come together until April of 2023 with their hit single “HOETALE.”
The hit single came as a surprise to Ayanna’s TikTok fanbase who were shocked by the visually impaired comedian's hidden talent. With Shardae’s creative thinking & Ayanna’s group of supporters; they decided to form a female LGBT rap group & created their first hit together.
