The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere “Metamorphosis”, the new track from Melbourne based artist Brixx in collaboration with Black Dahlia. As the track name suggests, Brixx’s new EP 'Conversion Therapy' is about transformation, inspired by the gamut of emotions and subsequent journey leading up to and following the coming out process. Rather than a narrative about repression or a forced change in sexual orientation, this release celebrates queer identity and disassociating from what it means to be heteronormative. 

The EP draws on the artist's love of David Lynch, cult queer cinema classics and film composers such as Heathers’ David Newman. It’s a mental trip encompassing repressed desire, frivolity, transformation and ultimately acceptance – a late night soundtrack which drops you into a world tinged with darkness that encompasses techno, new beat, EBM and breaks.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Phase Fatale & Reka. Tbilisi's KHIDI announces a series of three VA EPs with tracks from its residents and artists closely affiliated with the club, which will be released over the course of summer and autumn on KHIDI's label. Today we present the enigmatic electro heater "No Esperes Más" from the first EP of the series.

The first compilation  "A minute of music quelled a whole life of noise"  will be released on July 26th and features tracks from James Ruskin, Tensal, Yanamaste and Phase Fatale & Reka. The second EP "Two thorns together, a hundred tears apart"  is out in September with tracks from club's close friend Silent Servant and three track collabs between the club residents Ancient Methods & OTHR, Unhuman & Vulkanski and Roman & Boyd Schidt. Last but not least, the final EP "Music is like fire, without it, sheer darkness and cold" will be released in October with tracks from Matrixxman vs Espen Lauritzen, Inigo Kennedy, Deano and club resident Christoph Faust.

Zanias - Extinction

Co-founder and label custodian Zanias makes her debut on Fleisch with a journey through climate catastrophe. Composed in Berlin and mixed in Queensland with the smell of bushfire smoke in the air, she addresses the primary anxiety of our time with four tracks designed to draw the body into movement and the mind into action. Body music elements are wrought with mournful melodies and studded with samples recorded from the fast-disappearing natural world, while her voice guides the way through the darkness.
