Durty Fresh was raised in the heart of Hackney, East London, where a lot of people would say jungle, drum & bass and garage music thrived throughout the 90's to this present day. 

He originally started his career as an MC in 2000 and made his mark as a serious contender in the house & garage scene. Then Fresh went on to become a grime artist/rapper and got signed to Sony and Island Records but circumstances within the main stream music business gave Fresh the calling to go back to Basics!

With that in Fresh's background you can certainly hear the influences in his music, fusing vocals of his own as well as classic house anthems and old school Hip Hop samples.. Durty Fresh's combination of melodic dark gritty baselines and raw grooves with pulsating Four To The Floor beat show and prove he has come from a background engulfed in the underground scene. 

Since Fresh got behind the mixing desk early 2013 he has already been signed to Plus Recordings, his debut EP is a 4 Track imprint. A deep, dark, spacey big bass sound ( Cocaine Cowboy) march 2014

Off the back of this EP's success Fresh has since been recognised as one to look out for in the future. His follow up EP (Holla At Me), another 3 track deep tech bass heavy package which was in instant high demand from the london masses. 

As summer came closer Fresh got signed to Sounds of Juan First with a Techno Ep (The Pressure) Then straight after Endemic Digital with a Tech/house Ep (My House Not Jacks House) with these releases he was gained support from some of the industry's most respected including Richie Hawtin, Richy Ahmed, Jamie Jones, My Favourite Robot, Inxec and many more..

Further signings include Half Seas Over, Onefold Records. Durty Fresh has already played for some of London's & Ibiza's biggest underground promotions Flying Circus, Tigre, Get Diverted, Soft Porn, Keep On Going, Kubical, Deja Vu, Viva Warriors plus many more. Not bad at all for an artist who has only been producing for little under 2 years! 

Out of nowhere Fresh's latest release on Half Seas Over is a collabaration with Inxec - Come Right Away - which has had a great response from some of the biggest DJ's/Producers from around the world and reached number 40 on the top 100 Deep House Beatport charts.. Making Durty Fresh without a doubt one to watch for 2015.. You've been warned.

Taking in mind he has only been producing for a year and a half and already competing with the best of them!!

Mark Hawkins is a studio based musical artist with a career spanning more than 25 years.

Cutting his teeth in the UK underground party scene throughout the 90s, he has built an extensive body of work collaborating with a wide variety of record labels and artists, in numerous styles of electronic music under many different aliases, including his given name.

After two and a half decades of performing both as a live electronic act, and as a DJ, at many events around the world, which had included many of the most well known clubs and festivals, he decided to narrow his focus down to his main passion of writing, producing and engineering music in his Berlin studio, working on both his own material, and as a sonic “gun for hire”, assisting other artists in achieving their own aspirations in the studio environment.

Mark is a reclusive character who is more interested in sculpting sound, and searching for the perfect beat than promoting his own work, and as such declines to participate in the social media world which dominates contemporary culture.

Preferring to immerse himself in the world of audio manipulation, he has become a go-to studio engineer amongst those in the know, who want their own sound to take on a more professional sheen, or even a more retrospective aesthetic that relates to music from days gone by. 

But this has in no way slowed down his own output of material, in fact, without the distraction of unwanted self promotion or touring, he has been able to place an increased emphasis on crafting exactly the kind of music he wants to create for himself.

Looking ahead, Hawkins will continue to forge his own path via his artistry, blending styles and blurring the boundaries between genres, and will inevitably in the process discover and create exciting new works.

Being one of the most in-demand Techno DJs of our times, Ben Klock needs little introduction. His name has been closely associated with Berlin’s legendary club Berghain since 2005. His monthly residency has formed the backdrop to his international success, providing an invaluable platform for his ability to create a room rather than just play to it.

Much of his early career was marked by marathon sets – a signature that played a considerable role in nurturing his skills and reputation – but even the more compressed sets he shares today evidence an intricate narrative and sense of flow that defines him as a DJ. It was these inherent abilities that led him to compile the fabric 66 compilation in 2012, before winning the BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix of the Year award in 2015.

His releases on Ostgut Ton have become landmarks in the imprint’s history. 2009’s “Dawning”, the first of his collaborations with Marcel Dettmann kickstarted the label itself and remains a stand-out track in its discography. Another release of particular note is the Before One EP including “Subzero”, which many techno lovers still refer to as their gateway track into the whole genre itself. For many, however, it is his album One (2009) that best captures Klock’s talents as a producer. His skills as a remixer have also seen him rework tracks by a wide variety of artists, including Kerri Chandler, Depeche Mode, Robert Hood and Kenny Larkin.

Additionally, Klock curates with great passion his own label Klockworks, founded in 2006. With releases from DVS1, Stef Mendesidis, The Advent, Sterac, Etapp Kyle, Temudo and many more Klockworks became a synonym for unique, high quality Techno.

In 2017 Ben started his own event series PHOTON which is a unique concept show that blends light, architecture and music. Since then he toured PHOTON at special venues in major cities around the world such as Printworks (London), Gashouder (Amsterdam), Arca (Sao Paolo), to name a few. It quickly became a new standard for audio visual electronic music events. In 2023 the project returns after a pandemic induced break with a brand new visual and artistic concept.
