Subculture - Kingston Sound [OUT NOW!]

1point5 returns for his third solo EP on the label, and this time he's taking a melodic route through the dubstep sound, delivering three sublime tracks that we've been rinsing all summer. Title track 'In The Dance' is a lovely blend of instrumental samples and glorious synth works that really makes it a great way to kick start the EP. 'Settle' goes a bit deeper with a great use of vocal samples that compliments the rolling deep vibes throughout. The third original track 'Last Time' is reminiscent of that old school dubstep sound of 2006 and is a great way to round off the originals on the EP in style.

On remix duty we have invited Qwirk back following his debut EP on the imprint at the start of the year. He has taken his turn at flipping title track 'In The Dark' into a dubby affair with all that signature Qwirk flair, making his remix a great addition to an already fantastic EP.

Forthcoming December 20th, 2022 WiddFam proudly presents our 4th yearly compilation album. To say WiddFam has grown in these 4 albums would be an understatement. All of the hard work and dedication of this community is evident in this album and all of the compilations before. We are proud to welcome a huge cast of new faces as well as returning ones!

This year we will be donating 50% of proceeds from this album to The Jed Foundation, the donation will take place on April 1st, 2023. Mental health is something that lingers in the forefront of many members of this community, who struggle themselves with it & have close friends that do as well. To give back to struggling people is the most we could ask for, and if you are ever struggling the Fam is always keen to hear you on our discord.
