"Canvas" is a personal statement in the form of seven pieces recounting my musical DNA with the opportunity to have a bigger flexibility musically. It represents my life right now, life is a canvas, even when you think that everything is set, it takes time for the shades to reveal their true colors.

Hi babes! 

Underneath the sun is a work I started in early March as soon as quarantine started. Quarantine exponentially slowed me down and inspired me to make a "slow” mix that tried to warp time or signal at the way linear time had collapsed nationally perhaps globally. I was simultaneously thinking about the past, present and future in a spherical kind of way; doomed and heavenly, sunrise-sunset-night time, death-life-ghost life. It became a challenge to stay under a specific BPM as I only know how to turn up (Sag vibes 130BPM+) but this work pushed me to explore my range as a listener and sonic manipulator. Underneath the sun is inspired by femmes and our dynamic- at times chaotic way of being. It’s inspired by the ways in which our bodies navigate a violent patriarchal world that tells us we can’t exist but against this toxicity we find ways of existing. Hope you stick it through with us in this crazy little spiral-joyous anti historical but pro fem-queer non linear moment in ethernet non time.
