The debut full length is set for release in December 2025.  Two tracks are being released now:  :Little One” and “Little One Electronica”.  The music is inspired by Michael’s love of classical music, soundtracks, and ambient electronic music.

Michael Keane is the Bronx-born, New Jersey-based composer behind the Textbook Maneuver, Distance Major, and SCITK aliases. A classically trained pianist with a punk DIY heart, Keane blends cerebral sound design with cinematic storytelling, drawing from a wide palette of influences. As with all his projects to date, the music thrives on improvisation and sonic experimentation, refusing easy classification while remaining deeply accessible. 

Michael shared: “I have plans to move into composing for film and television.  For this debut album, I have composed several songs of modern classical and then made a second version with elements of electronica, hence the title of the album being Titles Electronica.” Get on board now with this talented emerging new artist!
