Interactive music composer / researcher / technologist, Phivos-Angelos Kollias is focusing his creative interest in applying innovative music technologies into music projects performed by musicians and algorithms for Interactive Music Performances, Virtual Reality Installations or Video Games. 

His music background is rooted in instrumental classical studies, including a PhD in interactive music composition (University Paris VIII), yet his music taste ranges from electronic music, rock/metal to noise and experimental music. He has studied composition in Cambridge (BA), London (MA) and Paris (PhD & DEA & MA) with the economic support of four foundations, and he currently lives and composes in Berlin. 

His music has received seven awards and nine nominations in international competitions, while the group projects he has participated in have won ten awards and distinctions.

Miss Saturation is a free music improvisation and automatic writing ensemble. It combines spoken word formed in real time, accompanied by viola, keyboards and live electronics. Miss Saturation enacts modes of storytelling similar to the rhapsody genre, where the poet under the guidance of a muse, was transcribing music onto words. Miss Saturation is that muse. The ensemble was established by Yiannis Loukos (keyboards, electronics), Natasha Papadopoulou (voice) and Eleftheria Togia (viola) in Athens and since 2015 has appeared in festivals and art spaces all over Europe, including Nottingham Contemporary Museum (Nottingham), Perdu (Amsterdam), Biennale5 (Thessaloniki), Stedelijk Museum Bureau (Amsterdam), Kunsthalle Athena (Athens). During these years the group has collaborated with numerous artists and musicians, such as Danai Anesiadou and Stefanos Theodorakis. At the moment Miss Saturation is collaborating with Daphne Tsiouni in the process of releasing their first album ‘S’. Lives and records in Europe.

Yiannis Loukos is a composer, piano/synthesizer player, free improviser and painter, who is experimenting with new techniques and sounds, in a wide artistic field, from film scoring to sound installations. He has studied engeeneing at the National Technical University of Athens (GR), Piano (under prof. Alexandra Papastefanou) and Composition at the Nakas Conservatory of Athens (GR) and has taken master classes with Tom Mays and George Aperghis. Natasha Papadopoulou is a visual artist and performer working with spoken word, text video and installation. Her artistic style is defined by the combination of linguistics in relation to physical practices. She holds a Barchelor of Fine Arts School from the School of Visual Arts in New York and a Master of Voice form the Sandberg Institute in Amsterdam. Her works belong in numerous private and national greek collections and her preformances have been presented in several prestigious European institutions. Eleftheria Togia is a viola player, free improviser and musicologist. She is a PHD candidate at the Ionian University in Corfu (Performance of 20th century viola compositions). Since 2010 she specializes in improvisation and experimenting in a variety of musical kinds. As a member of the orchestra she has collaborated, with outstanding musical personalities such as Martha Argerich, Leonidas Kvakos, Yuri Bashmet, Stephen Kovacevich, Misha Maisky, Sergei Nakariakov, Renaud Capuson, Koljia Blacher, Jaques Delicate etc. She has attended courses with Barbara Mauer, Genevieve Strosser and Paul Silverthorne. Daphne Tsiouni is a pianist and sound artist based between Paris and Athens. Her music research is focused in the connection between movement and sound/music. She has studied electroacoustics at the Conservatoire de Pantin (FR) and musicology in the University of ParisVIII (FR), Paul ValéryIII (FR) and at the Athens Kapodistrian University (GR).
