60's Influenced Psychedelic Rock 'N' Roll Band From Portland, OR.

Based in Berlin, Hior Chronik was born in Athens in 1974. His relationship with music started when he was working as a radio producer for Jazz fm in the early 90s’ and as a columnist for various music magazines. He began creating music about 7 years ago and today his focus is on minimal ambient based mainly on piano, characterized by cinematography, melancholy, scattered notes and long melodies that form expressive engagements. His music is featured in various films, documentaries as well as art performance. His debut album entitled “I’m a tree”" was released from Enregistrements Variables label in 2010. Collaborations constitute his basic core of inspiration and motivation for creating music. His 2nd solo album, entitled “Unspoken Words” was released by mü-nest in November of 2011, which will include collaborations with Akira Kosemura, Natalie Tba, Roger Doering (of Dictaphone) and many more. He released an album as Pill-Oh entitled “Vanishing Mirror” on Kitchen. Label in 2012.

From Berlin to Tunis, Davrik's creativity keeps growing. The melodies inspired by the atmospheres of both cities, which find common ground in their energy and dynamism, are sometimes melancholy, sometimes more ethnic.

Davrik has worked with many artists from different styles. He crossed Berlin's dark backgrounds by mixing and collaborating with artists from Berlin's techno scene and also the more silky funk sides of London with the Imagination band.
Some incursions in the underground hip hop add to its influences the richness of its inspiration.
Getaways in the desert of the Sahara brings him the calm required to retranscribe the emulation and impetuous enthusiasm of the big capitals.
Davrik knows how to play with the antagonisms and oppositions that society imposes on us. He manipulates them until the collision, to raise universal passions.

The video of his upcomming single "Wanna fall down" has been shoot in Berlin, in the desert of the Sahara and in the south of France. It relates this many opositions that build a personn and the world.

In the age of disposable media, where formulaic pop releases were tailored to an undiscerning mass of rampant consumers, darkness had settled on the land of tunes.  Small bands of rebels fought bravely, more often than not to fail, unremembered and unmourned, their bold battle-cries falling on deaf ears. Dejected artists watched sorrowfully from the shadows as one by one, the heroes of their formative years were struck down, mourned for a day and then discarded with the detritus of bargain bins and best ofs.  The mighty temples, the synagogues of sound which once stood so proudly, doors open to streams of enraptured followers, were closed.  Their halls stand empty, their denizens dispersed.
 
But not all would go so quietly into the night. Tales tell of two compatriots - keepers of the records, disciples of the decks and devotees to the Underworld, these two saw the suffering of the dispossessed and were moved by their plight.  Forming an alliance against the forces of mediocrity, our heroes delved deeper into their underground domain, scouring the darkest dens and hidden hideouts, the secret places of resistance where mighty wizards warped the air with the tortured screams and plaintive cries of twisted circuits, and the pounding of war-drums still beat defiance at the broken world above.
 
Here they sought new allies, creators of undiscovered genius and rare talent with whom to create a new movement. Drawing on their vast knowledge and love for the old ways, the two friends began to revive their ancient art.  With the assistance of the masters they had uncovered in their journeys, they began to create new records, new chronicles of sonic empowerment with which to reignite the passions of the world.  Here you will find the sacred collection of these masterpieces, the assorted works gleaned from the masters of the underground for the betterment of all mankind.

Resoe aka Dennis Uprock has been involved in the music business for more than 30 years. He started out as a hip hop dj in 1986 at the early age of 14, but when house made it’s impact in Europe in the late 80’s he picked up on that and his passion for electronic music was born.

He played as a techno dj in the early 90’s – he played more or less in every underground club in his hometown of Copenhagen. In 1997 he started to work in the legendary record store “Loud music” which was one of the main institutions of the Copenhagen underground electronic music scene.

In 1998 Resoe bought his first sampler. He experimented for years in the studio, twisting knobs and cutting up samples to improve his production skills. He is a member of the Danish hip hop/soul collective “Nobody beats the beats” where he released the single “Abstract Soul feat. Joy Morgan: Can’t i be loved” on the album “The second coming”.

He then got involved with a project the Danish national radio launched in 2004 called “Radio Recordings Vol. 1″ where he released the track “Krew: Industrial dawn”. In 2005 he got contacted by Beta Lounge (Hamburg) about a collaboration between them, and the library label “Selected Sound” where he produced 9 tracks as “Sedrian” for the Selectronica series.

In 2007 he decided to start up his own label Baum records, to create a platform for his own and other artists releases. So far the releases on his label has included, besides himself; Leftover, Johan Fotmeijer, Atheus and Marko Fürstenberg.

In 2008 he started yet another new project with Kenneth Christiansen (Echocord): Pattern Repeat. The first release by Pattern Repeat was released on Echocord Colour and soon after Resoe and Kenneth started the label Pattern Repeat – to have a platform to release their own productions.

Resoe’s dj skills has made him play at clubs like Berghain, Fabric, Weekend Club and Culture Box to name just a few. In the beginning of 2010 Resoe started to work on his live set to promote his highly acclaimed debut album which was released on Echocord in January 2011.

Resoe is a producer who likes all kinds of music, which shines through in his productions. When he is in his studio he tries to combine all these inspirations from different kinds of music, into his own production soundscape. Resoe is often associated with the new breed of “Deep Dub Techno” producers, but he would describe his style more as  a diverse producer, who have some Dub elements in his music, but not only stick to that. When listening to his debut album,  he is spreading his skills over a wide spectra of genres, with some Dub infection to it.

Laut & Luise is a Music Lovers Club from Berlin && Cologne

Laut & Luise releases carefully selected music on vinyl, individually touched and underlined by a special and characteristic artwork in order to give back at least some love.

Luise herself provides dance music, calm and dubby, still with a definite focus on house and techno.

Aside from the main label, our younger imprint Luettje Luise is meant to be a playground for sounds beyond genres and borders, trying to stay open-minded like daddy Ernst Jandl was.

What is the opposite of little? Lost. A new little sub by Laut & Luise, limited to nothing but a digital playback device and labeled with a mouse crafted artwork. Lost in Luise, for the digital natives and the internet explorers.
