LOVE LONG BEACH FESTIVAL - ALX FALCONE

Earworm presents it’s first ever music released via the platform “Malmö Multum" -  a collaboration with and fundraiser for Bolero Recordstore in the form of a VA.

The compilation features tracks from some of Malmö's best and brightest in the scene. Each producer flexes their flavour and does what they do best which has resulted in an eclectic album moving through different styles. Purely by coincidence, within the variety there exists a cohesive flow in the body of work, as if the tracks were meant to belong together. The city inspires everyone in different ways, yet there exists a crossover with a mechanism to link those inspirations.

In light of the recent motion to close the beloved local Bolero Recordstore, this fundraiser acts as a celebration of what the store has done for the underground community and as a statement of desire for the collaborative vision to continue in new ways.

All money raised from this VA will be donated to Bolero with the intention to make future events and projects in the city even more possible.

A new mix series from John Joe XO, founder of the Detroit electronic music label PITS! Herein he shares his own unique style of smooth house grooves with a little bit of party spice thrown in. Nehuen is an Argentinian-born, Barcelona-based producer & DJ with a long track record in dance music. He first found notoriety as a Red Bull Music Academy alumnus, followed by his 5-year tenure on Radio Primavera Sound, and the Classicworks label which he co-founded and ran
with Cardopusher (aka Safety Trance).

His first release for Maximum Airtime has been a long time in the making: he actually sent the hard-jacking acid techno monster “Build And Release” to Chrissy way back in 2012, and it hasn't left his crate since.

“Build And Release” is backed by the chuggy sci-fi electro jam “Damage Control”, and an absolutely scorching 160-bpm remix by legendary Chicago footwork producer Jana Rush (Dance Mania, Planet Mu).

With features on prominent Spotify editorials and support from the likes of Durante, German producer Palmate is swiftly carving out a name for himself within the lofi house scene. His latest release captures the hearts of listeners as it’s inspired by the charm of late summer nights – a sentiment we can all relate to. The smooth vocals, paired with the fuzzy, bright synths, create an airy mood that is strikingly reminiscent of Baltra and even reflects the early works of Ross from Friends.

A passionate musician and perfectionist for over ten years, Pascal Roeder founded the CØMPASS project in 2015. He expresses and develops techno with Berlin accents, incorporating dark, hypnotic, and industrial influences. The captivating melodies give another dimension to his music. CØMPASS swiftly released its first vinyl, gaining widespread popularity with the "Virgo Ep" on Mutewax.

The Lyonnais producer is highly productive, having released numerous albums and remixes on labels such as NSP Music, Limited, and Minimal Force Records. Pascal has also been remixed by notable artists like Stephanie Sykes and Orion. He enjoys strong support from influential figures in the industry, including Insolate, MTD, Marcel Dettmann, Boris, Speedy J, DVS1, Len Faki, Ben Sims, Dj Deep, Answer Code Request, Radio Slave, Boris, I/Y, Freddy K, Etapp Kyle, Nina Kraviz, and many others.

"Quantum," emerges as a exquisite techno EP slated for another release on Mutewax. Comprising four tracks, this musical journey through Pascal's creativity transcends limits, promising a captivating experience.

This set is a long time overdue, inspired by the unforgettable night at the Shire Festival, hosted by The Bloom Collective. I've tried to recreate the same vibe and energy that made that night so special. This mix is part of my ETHERIC VOYAGES series, which I've been eager to continue despite life's many interruptions. I hope you enjoy this journey and feel the same magic that we all experienced that night.

I got into DJing because of Yourshot. I participated in 2023 and won the competition. It was an amazing experience. The organisation provides a great opportunity to connect with people who are passionate about music and do what they do just for the love of music. 

My musical journey kicked off at 16, diving into EDM through India's underground rave scene. Psytrance grabbed me tight and hasn't let go since.

Fast forward seven years, and I walked into the Melbourne's techno scene (Thanks to my partner to getting me into it). The tunes, the people, the whole vibe – it just clicked.

Now, I'm all about spreading the word on Melodic Techno. Whether I'm Blasting it in my headphones, mixing tracks, or boogie on the dance floor, it's all about those good vibes.
