With the Rebirth Lab series we introduce three brand new artists with three different tracks. The Volume Seven includes music from Camelia, Shelf & Max Scanu and Casino Times.

Camelia is a young talented artist born in the 90’s in the west of France. In 2014 she moved to Montreal where she discovered the world of electronic music. Back in France she decided to focus on music production, and in 2019 she made her debut on Undersonic Records with the Consciousness EP. She is now the official presenter of our weekly Rebirth Radio Show, and and started playing regularly on the online music platform Mondonero. ‘Drop the mask’ takes you on a journey on the NYC deep house sound and its club culture roots: sublime pads, minimal rhythm percussions, experimental ambient effects, layered sub bass tones and a voice coming from the space.

‘Kiss the Sun’ is the debut production from the the combination of two Sardinian producers, Shelf and Max Scanu. Francesco Simula and Giuseppe Cappio Borlino aka Shelf perform a modern electroacoustic journey through electronic funk, trip-hop, breakbeat, house and lounge music with the employ of synthesizers, sequencers and guitars. 
Max Scanu, dj and musician was born and grown musically in Sardinia in the early nineties, influenced by the early techno scene, and developed his own mixing technique and music selection. ‘Kiss the Sun’ is a crafted deep number that combines live acoustics with electronic elements, atmospheric pads and a penetrating bass.

The producer duo Joseph Spencer & Nicholas Church, aka Casino Times, debut on Rebirth with ‘Politique’. Moving deftly between genres, styles and sounds without once sacrificing their unique sonic identity, Casino Times have been releasing music on a wealth of respected labels since 2010 and curate their own white label edit series ‘Casino Edits’. ‘Politique’ is a strong dancefloor track with effective French vocals, an infectious groove, a pulsating synth sequence and a sludgy bassline that builds tension throughout to deliver some peak-time power !
