What started off as an expected single tune release, took a turn for the waviest when I decided to put my own VIP twist on the original. Now set to release an an EP, 'Wit Skoene' and the 'Wit Skoene [Jayms VIP Mix]', both featuring Loufi on the vocals, are bouncy and energetic tracks, ready for use in club sets or on radio. 👟👟
We tried to bring a new flavour to the bass-y house scene in South Africa, which incorporates Loufi's very unique style of Afrikaans-mixed rap, which is sure to get your head bobbing. The EP is set for streaming release on my Soundcloud page, as well as on all major music platforms for those who prefer Apple Music, Spotify, etc. 🔮

"I love piano house.  As soon as I hear one chord from the famous Korg M1 "House Piano" preset, I lose my marbles.  I can’t get enough of it.  I’ve wanted to do a classic-sounding piano house song with Botnek for years, but when I tried, they were all just kinda, well, bad.  And that says a lot coming from a guy who loves any and every piano house song (so I say).

SO! For years, Erick and I have lived in different cities and don’t get to jam a lot. This story starts in one of those rare moments where we do get to get together and rock out.  At one point I did my best impression of a babe diva vocalist into my phone (singing about rock climbing), and we started playing an acidy bassline on a friend’s Moog we had sitting on the floor (literally).  And then, as if a voice from a higher power (pun intended) whispered into my ear, it said “this could be a nice PIANO HOUSE SONG GORD”.  And you know what, that voice was right.  At least I think so.  

And then!! Like most songs that are started, this one was forgotten about.  For a long long long time.  Until one night, we were doing one of those extendo DJ sets, you know, the ones where after hours of playing you go “I am literally running out of songs to play”.  Might not happen to everyone, but it happens to us.  There weren’t many things left to play, and the demo of this song was staring at me saying “pick me!”.  Truth be told, I didn’t know what it even sounded like anymore, but we took a leap of faith and the crowd went WILD. With their hooting and hollering filling the room, it was evident this song must be finished. 

So, exposition aside,  the song was finished, and when the opportunity came up to release with Hexagon, we were super down.   We’ve been fans of Don’s since a tune of his called “Hooligans” came out years back.  That track of his was very much our little anthem at times, and maybe, for someone else, this tune will be theirs.   AWWWWWW!" - Gordon from Botnek

We heard wild music from the middle of the forest, a strange harmony that caught the attention of a group of island survivors searching for food. When they arrived, they found a young sailor named Pipo Salty.
During his introduction to the group, Little Salty told us that although he is a sailor, he always dreamed of conquering the Heavens, during his long nights at sea, Little Salty produced songs inspired by his dream of flying on those sleepless nights. The sounds of the sea helped you create the 'Conquest of Space' EP with 3 amazing songs that will make you have an interplanetary astral journey.
The first song called 'Disco On The Moon' will make you travel to the moon swinging your hips nonstop, many weird synthesizers that bring a fun and confusing atmosphere.
'Cheap Plane' has some effects that make you look like you're on an old rusty plane, have you ever imagined that? some brake sounds, roaring irons that boost the adrenaline of the moment!
The latest EP song is called 'Space Travel', exactly to close with a golden key, how about getting off the moon and embarking on a space travel? Pipo Salty figured the space could be similar to the seabed with some sounds. that look more like whales than meteors tearing through space, maybe Pipo is just dreaming about life off Earth where he can make new friends.
