There’s this moment when you realize you’ve outgrown the ghost of who you were, but you’re still haunted by their shadow. That’s where this song came from. It’s not about becoming perfect, it’s about choosing to evolve even when it hurts.

I wrote this one in the middle of a mental reboot. I’d been surviving on autopilot for too long, smiling through static, pretending I was fine while burning out behind the scenes. “Between Versions of Me” is what it sounds like when the system crashes and you finally decide to rebuild it your way. It’s industrial, it’s chaotic, it’s ugly in the right places, but that’s what makes it real.

This is one of those songs that bleeds and breathes at the same time. It’s about killing compliance, forgiving the past, and becoming something truer in the wreckage.
