"Test Subject" is the 3rd track of my 2022 EP, "Seasons." The project was started on January 27th, and production took roughly 22.5 hours. All production, mixing, and mastering was done by me.
The 3 tracks vary in style a good amount from each other, just like the 4 seasons. I was planning to have a 4th track in this EP, however I really liked how these 3 came together, and decided to stick with it.

Iowa native Ryan Unash, aka SHIKIMO, first found a passion for electronic music in 2010, when he was introduced to the music of Basshunter. In 2011, with the aid of his musical background – including double bass and piano – he began producing his own music using FL Studio, starting with trance, and expanding over the years into a wide variety of genres before developing his own unique blend of chill synthwave.

Space, weather, and beautiful landscapes shape the mood of SHIKIMO’s tracks, and he finds himself focusing on a particular setting when creating his sounds. His music has amassed millions of plays across all platforms, and his 2018 EP, "Off-World" was named "the best synth-ambient project of the decade" by Synthwave Radio.

SHIKIMO's 3rd full-length album, "Forerunners," released on June 25th, 2021, and he looks forward to releasing much more great music in the future.
