Wild Oats proudly presents a new 7 inch from Kyle Hall entitled ‘Eutrophia Sevan’. This project is an ode to the earth and its plant based life forms that give us sustenance, nurturing, and knowledge through both its cultivation, observation, and consumption.

Additional Notes & Thoughts:

It is my understanding that all energetic material in which we interact with serves as a software of a kind that is loaded into our systems via our five senses and influence the manner in which we behave and process our realities.

Plants have many ways of interacting with our senses. One form of this sensory interaction with plants is the ingestion of them for the purpose of intoxication. In this form the plant sends information to our neural networks which we interpret as sensation of a shift in our state of mind, body, and spirit. When a plant of this type is in the hands of a creative mind, these shifts in ones perspective can allow for the possibility of the integration of new concepts and ideas that can provide insight in an array of aspects of its consumers life experience. From this unification one now begins to see the connection between things that were once to them seemingly unrelated. These teachings then become motifs that then can be applied to whatever the creative individuals mode of expression is.

Of course we also eat certain plants to provide sustenance, nourishment and satiation. The Sweet Potato root is one of these plants that provide this for us. Having a feeling of being full, nourished, and satisfied gives a stronger capacity to be grounded. Being grounded allows for us to focus and align ourselves with what we must do in order to attract what we personally need in our lives.

Eating a plants fruit, taking its seed and caring for it till it grows into plant itself is a symbolism of the overall connection between all life and all processes that occur with in it. This indicates that plants contain a level of supreme intelligence that can only be tapped into by our communion and honoring of them.

Releasing a record for possibly be the final time as The Strictly Jaz Unit collective. We present Glenn Underground & Boo Williams "Tempest" DLP, a collection of musically rich tracks. Produced with the goal of carefully preserving the natural dynamics that work so well alongside the musicality and tight keyboard work of the tracks. 

This record is a labour of love for GU and Boo, based around a double LP vinyl format with digital release also. Glenn's history needs no hyping, with a massive record on Cajaul, Prescription and many more. When combined with Boo's history with Chicago that arcs back to 1981, this collaboration shows two true masters of the game at the height of their powers.

The whole record is rich in sonics and diverse in terms of melodies with some class A keyboard work. This attention to detail elevate tracks that are at home on any dance floor as much as they are at home.

Got my   Technics 1210 in 1997
Startet with the second Wave of Chicago House . The First Gigs i played in Venlo (2000in Netherland) in Montegobay and Extravaganzia Partys and Dr .Jazz  Düsseldorf and in Köln . 
The reason why I had to start so urgently was probably, looking back, a combination of several things: Firstly, my father played sounds like Sister Sledge, James Brown and Marvin Gaye in the party cellar and the crowd, including my mother, danced ecstatically. The whole street was packed when my parents threw one of their legendary parties, so much so that the taxi drivers said that there was more going on there than in any restaurant. The second reason, looking back today: I recorded a lot of Treibhaus cassettes between 1995 and 1998, which is how I became aware of Gene Farris, Glenn Underground, Ron Trent, etc. I got a CD by Juan Atkins and Paul Johnson... after that I had to get my first Technics, and the rest is history, and more than 25 years ago.
