Volume 4 of the Make Up series is another doozy and this one brings together accomplished house heads Camille, Chez Damier, and Nico Lahs in a celebration of underground disco classic "through the lens of 60's and 70's underground comix". Similar to these rebellious reads, the tracks on this release carved their niche with purists seeking distinct and thrilling sounds. Across the double album, Camille's contributions include Mystic Pleasure's 'Back Door (Getting Down)' and Cold Fire's 'Badder Than Bad' which both bring soulful melodies and infectious rhythms, Chez Damier adds Fascination's 'Shine My Love' and Bileo's 'You Can Win' with shimmering vocals and funky basslines and together, they make for an exhilarating mix of disco brilliance.

Steve Stoll - Slipstream

Releasing a record for possibly be the final time as The Strictly Jaz Unit collective. We present Glenn Underground & Boo Williams "Tempest" DLP, a collection of musically rich tracks. Produced with the goal of carefully preserving the natural dynamics that work so well alongside the musicality and tight keyboard work of the tracks. 

This record is a labour of love for GU and Boo, based around a double LP vinyl format with digital release also. Glenn's history needs no hyping, with a massive record on Cajaul, Prescription and many more. When combined with Boo's history with Chicago that arcs back to 1981, this collaboration shows two true masters of the game at the height of their powers.

The whole record is rich in sonics and diverse in terms of melodies with some class A keyboard work. This attention to detail elevate tracks that are at home on any dance floor as much as they are at home.

Marius Tüffers, bekannt als akafollowman bzw. DJ MT, begann seine musikalische Reise 1997 mit den ersten Technics 1210-Plattenspielern. Geprägt von der zweiten Welle des Chicago House fand er früh Inspiration bei Künstlern wie Glenn Underground, Ron Trent,Larry Heard ,Juan Atkins, Gene Farris, Paul Johnson, DJ Sneak und Ian Pooley und Masters at Work .

Ab 2000 spielte er seine ersten Sets in Venlo (NL), Düsseldorf und Köln. Zwischen 2004 und 2012 arbeitete er im Music Store Köln, wo er seine technischen Kenntnisse vertiefte und gleichzeitig Schüler der Vibra DJ School sowie der Modern Music School Köln war. Seit 2006 produziert er mit Ableton Suite eigene Tracks und entwickelt dabei eine Klangsprache, die Emotion, Energie und Groove miteinander verbindet.
