Next on our "Invites" series, we're thrilled to welcome No Hard Feelings, known for their distinctive blend of Dark Disco, EBM, and Italo Body Music. 

No Hard Feelings is a Berlin based DJ/Producer Duo, consisting of Arlenys and LB/LB.
Since the day they've met, they bonded over their love to synth music. Taking inspirations from both: The cheerful darkness of synthpop as well as the roughness of Berlin's industrial scene, they deliver unique DJ Sets which create a playful yet gloomy atmosphere.

They have kindly answered the follwing question for us: 
Can you name a track that is special to you and why? 

"After the first third of the mix, we had already played quite a couple of tunes we like that are fun and danceable but I felt like now is the time to bring out a song that says “Hey! We’re here, we dig darkwave and we hope you do too”
Then I played “Tears” by @boy-harsher . Every time I hear that song it reminds me of one late night bike ride I had from Neukölln back home to Lichtenberg in 2020, where I listened to that specific album.
This song came up when I was crossing the river, I got off my bike and enjoyed a moment of me being completely alone in that bridge, looking on the Spree and the Treptower Park.

I heard of quite a couple of friends who have similar experiences and emotions to that boy harsher album, may it not be a bike ride but a road trip in their car or just a rainy evening alone on the sofa. Furthermore, Boy Harsher is a great influence to Arlenys and me, we both enjoy their music and live sets very much.

I hope this song gets peoples’ attention, making them feel right at home and preparing them for the next parts of the mix which are coming up."

For the first installation of GOODGEAR I have invited my dear friend and fellow raver Sparkling Water Dreams and there is no one better I could have chosen to launch it. 

Sparkling Water Dreams has been playing solidly in clubs across Berlin for the past few years and more recently curating his own club nights alongside Niki K under the name “Shtory?” … keep your eye out for upcoming parties! 

This mix is a perfect slice of the energy Sparkles can bring to any dancefloor and I am always astonished by the passion and energy that goes into his mixes. So excited to share this and for what lies ahead <3
