One of techno’s true underground heroes, Function steps in with a mix that captures the essence of his club sound: deep, dark, hypnotic and intensely layered. Cerebral yet physical, this set distills over 30 years of experience into a rolling trip that’s as uncompromising as it is immersive.

Recorded in Berlin with a Xone 96, with Function’s signature sound design woven throughout, the mix bridges heavyweight classics and future-shaping material. Kicking off with Nastia Reigel’s massive new remix of his own Disaffected, it showcases three tracks from her upcoming debut album Identity (out September 26 on Infrastructure).

The selection runs wide: from Regis, Rødhâd, LSD, Nørbak, Nastia Reigel, Ignez, Rene Wise, Silent Servant, Alarico and UFO95 to unreleased gems by Filippo Scorcucchi - alongside Function’s own productions, edits and textures. The result is a hypnotic, high-pressure session built for the club’s inner core, designed for maximum immersion and intensity.

A rare insight into the craft of one of techno’s most enduring innovators. Expect a journey that tunnels deep, bends time, and refuses to let go. 🖤

Half of boundary-pushing production outfit Voices From The Lake and co-founder of Spazio Disponibile, Neel is an Italian producer with a keen ear for complex, enveloping sonics; his ample, elegant pieces of music sitting right at the junction of beatless abstraction and intricate webs of electronic pulsations. Boasting his works’ most dynamic side, Neel’s debut transmission on RYC ushers us into a smouldering pit of molten steel and glassy membranes. Playing with echoes and latency as he builds his own multi-sensory experience out of eclectic fragments, Neel transports us to a zone where movement and inertia rule in concerted harmony, and your suddenly weightless body feels eventually free from today’s iteratively chaotic burden. ✈ To celebrate this new episode, we are proud and delighted to host such an iconic figure from the London Techno scene : R.M.K (Fossil Archive, Nechto , Odd Even).

Hailing from London, R.M.K is an exciting new project by Fossil Archive label head Roberto. It represents a faster and more intense take on his unique brand of Techno.

He utilises his knowledge and past experiences, which include regularly playing at Berghain and Tresor in Berlin, as well as fabric in London, to develop his individual sound.

During his 20+ year career in music, he has formed friendships and worked in partnership with other respected artists such as Trevino (Marcus Intalex), Jamie Anderson, Robert Owens, Goldie and Nastia.

Although the focus is always on the very heart of the most raucous of raves, R.M.K never shies away from groove and funk. This is conveyed in a Live Show that utilises classic hardware from the golden age of UK Rave.

Tatsuya Kanamori goes by the name DJ Shufflemaster, a veteran driver for rolling hard-groove still going strong after three long decades. In his native Japan (around the time names like Takaaki Itoh and DJ Nobu were on the rise), his earliest ventures were closely tied to the work of Tokyo’s Subvoice, dynamic techno through and through. His arrival in Europe coincided with his 17 track debut album on Tresor Records, EXP (rereleased 2023), and proved his mettle as one of Tokyo’s best and brightest exports. Earmarked by talents like Ben Sims and Cari Lekebusch, those sounds became a staple for those in the know. 2014 saw his proprietor run label Shiki Kyokai kick into gear with a number of EPs, ruthless, iron-willed techno for the small hours, and a recent addition alongside Tensal, Pergo and Eduardo de la Calle has renewed his star for 2025 as well. Pluralistic and shrewd in their vision, his vaulting basslines flutter headlong into surging incarnations of the same wind he’s been riding since before the new millennium. With a spate of recent interest in the minimal styles of his starting decade, his work has found a new resonance among fans both at home and abroad. DJ Shufflemaster and his techno are keeping on rolling to the rhythm of his breakneck sounds. It’s back to the city by the sea for Bassiani Podcast 285 and Lournco Lvgs is flying the flag. On the Lisbon beat he works across different media including sound and visual, exploring the nexus of both disciplines with interminable passion and proposing a world rich in pattern and texture. Integral to the city’s creative landscape, you’ll find him regularly bouncing between venues like the storied LUX Frágil, community staple Zé dos Bois and the festivals Waking Life and Boom. Highly dynamic and plugged into a landscape of his own design, his sound is a testament to the grassroots energy currently taking over his hometown. As producer, DJ and organiser, he cofounded the record label Vilamar, is part of the Capsula experimental collective and also performs in the duo Adão e Erva- there’s little he hasn’t touched on as his creative impulse keeps exploring. The confident blurring of genre boundaries has lent his sound a depth of reference points and expanded the scope of his work far beyond anything expected, these are serious beats for serious ravers. Seeking to investigate the connection between the physical and the intangible elements in music, Lournco Lvgs tirelessly reformulates elements and yields the best sounds as a result. For this latest instalment, the Portuguese provocateur supplies just under two hours of liminal drumloops and tunes hot off the grill, explosive beats from a local talent.
