My name is Jake Hühn and I make lo-fi beats to get sad to

This adventure started on a very large upright piano in my grandparents' living room.  I was 7.  It's hard to say how old that piano was.  And I'm sure she'd kill me if I told you how old my Gramma was when she taught me how to handle that gigantic piano with its ivory keys.  I can still hear that sound.

I play a variety of other instruments, some better than others.  I write and I sing and it's not always great, but nothing compares to the thrill of being in the middle of writing a song, walking around half-dead to the rest of the world yet fully immersed in the song that plays over and over in my head until I find all the words.

I have dreams (just one actually) of seeing my name in the tiniest print on a movie screen, scrolling through the credits of a film for which just one of my creations was placed.  That will happen some day.

But now CL James has taken to the studio to put his captivating, and entrancing life lessons on the track for all to hear. Floating down streams of melancholic introversion in "Someone Else", the seductively pumping grooves of "Bad Girl", all the way to the explicitly direct serenade that is "Come", this release will be sure to soothe and please. I recommend you pair it with a nice cocktail.
