Oh this boogie-funk one has a special place in my heart!

I used to listen to that emotional dinger every single day for a couple of months at a point of my life when youth did not come along with learnings, and when owning the world was a daily business affair! 

My first ever big gig I cracked this one - the limiter was around 80 decibels, I could not even hear my tunes lol.

Now it comes with a completely revisited intro & outro - volumes re-arranged. So much more satisfying to play it without the singing until the very end and that softer and longer intro means sexy layering in our sets!

Nonna Fab is a core part of Sheffield’s progressive music scene, founding Apricot Ballroom, Footprints Jazz Club, Jazz On The Park Festival, and his band Fuji Speedway. He’s also part of the consortium behind Grub Records, a new record shop and wine bar opening this summer. As well as regularly playing as part of his duo with Apricot Ballroom, Nonna Fab’s back catalogue of releases explores house, boogie, jazz and broken beat.

This release shows an organic curation of instruments, touching on live elements, jazz improvisation and dance-floor orientated rhythms. We Still Out Here began a few years ago as a nod to the iconic NYC post-disco and proto-house sound, and to serve as a message that there are still producers out here working on and inspired by that sound.

With only their debut 12" on the newly formed Magic Jams imprint, Snacks
are already killing it. These guys are certainly up for something big!

Imagine Bernard "Pretty" Purdie, Dizzy Gillespie and Blaze got stuck in
a studio and you get an idea what this Berlin based live duo sounds like.
In complex arrangements they create funky state-of-the-art house music,
in a class all its own.

Watch out for Snacks stunning live performances: These guys bring back a
smile and sense of playfulness seen much too little in today's clubs!

The Vinyl version comes along with a fantastic artwork by california's
own Steven Harrison.

Far East Recording’s Shinichiro Yokota has enjoyed a revival of late, thanks to a recent reissue on Rush Hour of his classic ‘Do It Again’ and further reissues on Hhrati with long-term friend and partner in crime Soichi Terada. This has brought their unique brand of house music back onto dance floors and firmly in the hearts of music lovers around the world. With a recent performance to a jubilant crowd in Tokyo, this could spell a move back into playing in clubs for Shinichiro, so watch this space.
