@heistrecordings's Round Up Series has year on year lavished us with some truly wonderful house music. If you haven't come across the series before the concept is simple but brilliant. Heist get together all of the artists who have released with them in the previous 12 months and get them to remix each others tracks thus creating entirely new takes on some of the labels finest moments.

This years crop of artists is another mouth watering prospect as Fouk, JKriv & Peter Matson, Marina Trench, Makez, Lore of the Samurai and Felipe Gordon all line up together.

Our premier today see's @felipe-gordon take over the remix duties on one of our favourite tracks of 2021 @Jkriv and @petermatson's 'New Friend', flipping it into a deep and scintillating slice of house music.

Anton Bogomolov is a Russian producer and DJ who releases music on vinyl since 2018 and plays at local parties and festivals. Already supported by Moodymann, Dj Muro, Session Victim or Disclosure, he is now releasing the second single from his upcoming EP called 'Deja Vu' where he joins forces with another DJ called Classonix. This new track is a perfect cocktail of sunny beats and groovy dance vibes for house parties. Nebraska’s ninth release on his Friends & Relations label presents further explorations of his ‘old records spun in new directions’ ethos. Opener ‘Deep Tune’ places a classic Memphis soul-man monologue in a new, resonant, percussively hypnotic setting. ‘Drum Track 01’ is spacious dub workout, all bass, drum and atmospherics. Side B brings us ‘Shift’; tranced-out 80s soul examined in microscopic detail. ‘Drum Track 02’ is a reframing of a crackly, wild percussion workout with dive-bombing bass drops. 

As per previous F&R releases, this is limited to 300 copies on vinyl and is available from 20th July.

Was resident DJ at the weekly Blast Club in Chester since summer 1988, Quadrant Park Liverpool 90/91 , Sweet Chester , Elevate Bangor   etc etc  .. Now Djing at Electrik Disko every fortnight, and throughout the summer we are in the outside courtyard area in The Commercial Bar Wrexham. Nice sound system and great location ..puurfect.
