Ghost Ship

A letter to those struggling with emotional turmoil, anger issues, depression, suicide.

This one's for you. As we enter the final arc, all those loose ends lead us here!

SYNOPSIS

2022 years ago, the Protagonist would cross to the Place of the Dead. An adversary since the Dawn of Time called this Place of the Dead his stronghold. But this Protagonist, this man, would bear immense physical & emotional suffering, & ultimately would lay down his life for those who were unworthy, & those tortured by their own iniquities. While they were still wrongdoers, he decided to go in their place. This guy was beaten, gauged, tortured, insulted, & killed, all because he loved them too much to see them without hope. Without eternal hope or existential hope.. without the Healing Hope. This is the Story of our God, who died to give you a fighting chance to have that true forgiveness, healing deep wounds, & mending chasms between common man, spoken in the native tongue of the true, old-school rock nerd.

Musical flavour inspired by the works of Terry Brown (April Wine/Rush), Chilliwack, Led Zeppelin (*strictly in regards to musicianship), David Bottrill (Tool/Crown Lands), Greta Van Fleet, Styx, Blue Oyster Cult & Pink Floyd, to name a few.

Enjoy? Shed a tear? Whatever you may do, be reminded of how much He really loves you. I hope we helped a bit. We love you, & more important, the main character of this story did this with you specifically in mind. Don't let anyone or anything steal this wonderful Truth from you.

EPILOGUE:
8 months of prep & journ with this family led to a single fateful day of reckoning. We executed 4 runthroughs of the song, the last of which, you are listening to. Hudson McKee, drummer of Shining Shards came in, sick as could be & despite his physical condition, defiantly layed down this uncut drum layer. Quinn Conway brought a unique vocal interpretation from the ideas Brett presented him, & has been praised for bringing something new to the table. Brett had to refine, redefine, & execute a perfect 11+ minute take of the song without mistake on his Turser. This is the finished mix. Enjoy.
