The Valkyries are the female warriors responsible for taking warriors to Valhalla upon their death in the mortal realm. One of the Valkyries is described as having beautiful long braided hair, carrying a shiny sword and a shield.

A Valkyrie is one of a host of female figures who choose those who may die in battle and those who may live. Selecting among half of those who die in battle (the other half go to the goddess Freya's afterlife field Fólkvangr), the Valkyries bring their chosen to the afterlife hall of the slain, Valhalla, ruled over by the god Odin. There, the deceased warriors become einherjar. When the einherjar are not preparing for the events of Ragnarök, the Valkyries bear them mead. Valkyries also appear as lovers of heroes and other mortals, where they are sometimes described as the daughters of royalty, sometimes accompanied by ravens and sometimes connected to swans or horses.

Xerox & Illumination's music is just like a rare Black diamond. 
During the first decade of the 2000', when the Psytrance scene was having a kind of commercial awakening (with friendlier sounds and countless vocal tunes), this legendary duo started to explore the opposite worlds and created a powerful and dark Full-on, with a unique Industrial sound. 

Three studio albums and anthems like 'Battleship' and 'Ghost in the Machine' sent the duo to massive world tours. XI's music blew away the minds of Psytrance lovers around the globe and inspired many artists. But till today, no one was able to re-create their thrilling atmosphere and authentic energy.

Xerox & Illumination - Creatures of the Night (DJ Mix)

Sigrún (Old Norse "victory rune") is a Valkyrie in Norse mythology. Her story is related in Helgakviða Hundingsbana I and Helgakviða Hundingsbana II, in the Poetic Edda.

The two fall in love, and Sigrún tells Helgi that her father Högni has promised her to Höðbroddr, the son of king Granmarr. Helgi invades Granmar's kingdom and slays anyone opposing their relationship. Only Sigrún's brother, Dagr, is left alive on condition that he swears fealty to Helgi.

Dagr is however obliged by honour to avenge his brothers and after having summoned Odin, the god gives him a spear. In a place called Fjoturlund, Dagr kills Helgi and goes back to his sister to tell her of his deed. Sigrún puts Dagr under a powerful curse after which he is obliged to live on carrion in the woods.

Helgi is put in a barrow, but returns from Valhalla one last time so that the two can spend a night together.

Sigrún died early due to grief, but was reborn again as a Valkyrie. In the next life, she was Kára and Helgi was Helgi Haddingjaskati, whose story is related in Hrómundar saga Gripssonar.

I had an amazing time playing my first international set at Full Night Festival: Night Madness in Budapest, Hungary this past weekend. Many thanks to everyone for all the love and energy on the dancefloor. I couldn't have pictured a better way to celebrate my first month in Hungary since emigrating from South Africa. I am open for bookings in Europe and excited to play again soon!

Purple Hexagon presents ANTITHESIS and his set that contains the tracks he released in the last album (Infinite Darkness) and in the last year. After several years in the metal and alternative scene as a guitarist in different bands, Antithesis discovered psytrance music in the early 2000s. Nighttime is his connection with the psytrance world, darkness is the perfect habitat for his music: dark melodies, twisted elements, deep bass are the ingredients of his sound. Because of his influences that come from different musical worlds, he has created a quite peculiar sound with which he wanted to get out of the usual tracks sometimes too standardized. In these past years he has been part of the Dnoir Records roster, with which he has released 3 EP's (Amniotic, Cybernetic Requiem, Enemy) and one album (Infinite Darkness). Now he is ready for a new adventure with Purple Hexagon Records, with which he will soon release a new EP.

Hear we go for another episode The Valkyrie's scroll 📜 inspired through the God Of War Game Series, this set was performed at Darkadia Gathering big thanks to the guys behind this beautiful gathering, the line up full of great Mauritian artist of the electronic & psychedelic scene and specially the beautiful crow full of energy.

Gunnr (alternatively guðr) is an Old Norse term meaning "battle". It is the name of a valkyrie in Norse mythology, and was also used as a feminine given name. The modern forms Gun and Gunn remain in use as a feminine given name in Scandinavia. The word is from Proto-Germanic gunþiz, which is a common element of Germanic names not only in North but also in West Germanic, as second element especially frequent in feminine names (as in Hildegund), as first element also in masculine names (as in Gunther).

In legend, Gunnr is the Mistress of War. She would appear during the aftermath of any conflict, big or small, as the first to arrive and search for worthy souls for a trip to Vahalla. It was considered a gruesome task but she did it with pride. Her judgement of the fallen was unparallaled and an invaluable resource to Odin, thus making her one of his favorites.

Gunnr's armour design is based on a crow.

The earliest attestation of the name is on the Rök Stone where it occurs as part of a kenning for wolf:

Þat sagum tvalfta, hvar hæstʀ se Gunnaʀ etu vettvangi a, kunungaʀ tvaiʀ tigiʀ svað a liggia.
"I say this the twelfth, where the horse of Gunnr sees fodder on the battlefield, where twenty kings lie."

History of Shinobi 忍び

Based in Mauritius, Shinobi alias Christopher Naigon fell in the world of music and Art since childhood. He started his career as a dancer of hip hop, electro dance and various dance style. Since during his journey being discovering various styles of music through  the art of dance  he then drops in the psychedelic/psytrance universe where he found all the musical style discovered before englobe in one music style. Psychedelic has been since this time his inspiration. 

He then began mixing since 2019 Formed By The Cosmik Brothers, Orion Project and Noah in the art of mixing, then started releasing his first performance during the first covid19 2020 Lockdown with other local artists like, Kenzo, Orion Project, Cosmik Brothers, Noah, Skyle, Hrik and many other local acts of the psychedelic scene of Mauritius, performing live streaming on the social platform (facebook Youtube Mixcloud). He started gaining more and more followers as his music mixing sets touched not only the psytrance lovers but also people who never heard this type of music.

Shinobi performed in events such as Kalani, Secret Models' Event, Oblivion gatherings and many Private parties, also share the same scene with international acts like (Vini vici, Talamasca, Ecoteric, Boryana, ben bohmer, Daniela Hensen, Herba, Debora De Luca, ect). He gains his inspiration from the Japanese culture, anime world, all style music genre, all culture and forme of music and all style in the Psytrance music genre transforming these sounds into all style psy trance and psychedelic mix. My purpose on this planet is to perform Art through music to touch souls and make people discover The Psychedelic universe, the best way to share passion, art, love, vibration and good connection.

History of Aisuru 愛する

Aisuru is the fusion of Shinobi & and Shinobelle (my one and only Christina) a project that is not really a b2b because we consider our fusion into one entity. We Wanted to express our love to each other and share it with everyone.

The Japanese word Aisuru, pronounced "eye-soo-roo", is a warm and lovely word that translates to mean "to love", "to care for", or "to have affection for"

This is our tale of love. Like Tsukuyomi (Moon God) and Amaterasu (Sun Goddess) our love is represented by the Moon and the Sun.
