We’re super excited to present the next guest, very talented artist from Russia Nocow. Nocow  is the stage name of Aleksei Nikitin, a St. Petersburg-based electronic artist who got his music released through various record labels such as Rekids, Figure, Clone, Gost Zvuk, Styrax, and many more. Gathering influence from dozens of different genres, Nocow never has a been in his bonnet as you won’t ever guess where his next piece will lead you to. Inspired by the endless baltic winters, the producer packs his tracks with emotions, engulfing the listener in winching waves of melancholic electronica. Pushing his music from soothe and calm ambient tunes to techno dance-floor killers, he has served as one of St. Petersburg's most consistently intriguing musical exports over the past few years.

We are very happy to welcome Reka for our June podcast with 2h of pure madness, recorded during Π Electronics party at About Blank. With a thirst for adventurous selections oscillating between dystopian aesthetics and moments of sheer beauty, REKA has cultivated her very own personal approach to heady machine music. Featuring everything from contemporary techno to the genre's prototypical past of electro, her set is a highly sensitive affair; maneuvering seamlessly through dance music's many permutations with the same manual control and balance that goes into riding her motorcycle through the streets of Berlin.

Merely one year into her DJ career, REKA was discovered by DJ Hell and joined International Deejay Gigolos as part of the female duo leChic, releasing the critically acclaimed CD-mix “leMix”. Few years later, REKA was selected to participate in Toronto's edition of Red Bull Music Academy and eventually felt the desire to start her solo path, considerably darker and more experimental realms. After relocating to Berlin, she soon became a resident at the legendary club TRESOR. Her DJ set showcases a broad range of influences from Synth, Dark Wave, Electro to EBM, Newbeat & IDM to different shades of Techno, than enables her to be a strong, versatile DJ to perform under any time, stage and context.

@lukr-range is a Berlin-based DJ and producer. She grew up and developed in the Berlin nightlife scene and started to perform as a DJ in clubs such as :// about blank, Arena and Suicide Circus in 2017, dominating the floors with raw and aggressive techno beats. Her sets are always energetic and characterised by fast drums, punching kicks, metallic snares and jumping bass lines, creating a fluent, dark, hypnotic and deep journey through music. Besides DJ-ing she is also known for the work with @sonderberlin colective, her very own productions and the residency at the @eclectiqueberlin events. The mix that Lukr Range has recorded for us is way different than her usual style so check it out!
