Wassup, wassup AGAiN, my people?! I’m sure you're surprised with how soon I’ve made it back, and in a good way too. Very stoked to bring this next record, as I am trying to rebuild momentum that was lost due to complex reasons- in other words, you don’t wanna hear about it, because it’s boring haha..

Instead, let me tell you the story about this specific song “10Fold”, which is kinda funny.. kinda. I wrote the song a little after I had written “#IJS (Keep it 100)” with #Makisi, which technically means that this record is over 2 years old- the lyrics are, to be more accurate. 

Long story short- “10Fold” was initially written and recorded to a #Harikiri production. I wasn’t feelin’ the final cut of the song, so I decided to sit on it- no release. Throughout the entirety of withholding the track, I tried manipulating it in every way I possibly could, but just couldn’t break the threshold of satisfaction. It lacked.. something, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Finally, after 2 years of believing that this record would NEVER surface, #MoMusiq swoops in to save it- like the super hero he is haha.

I sent Mo the stems to “10Fold" 6/30/2016. Mo Musiq sent THIS VERY VERSION to me on 7/16/2016! What took me over 2 years to get right, it took my dunny 17 DAYS! What’s even crazier is that the bro didn't even worked on this solely in that time. The boy is a phenom. Anywho, please enjoy the record, people! We do what we LOVE for who we LOVE, which is YOU. Hello, hello! Johnny here, on a brand new day, month, year and chapter- READY to take this music thing to new heights. FOREAL. I come to you this time with a record that may or may not sound ignorant and/or flashy, but that's just how the record manifested itself in the creative process. Anyway, as the song reflects where my mind/heart is, I hope to direct that vibe to YOU, the listener- in hopes that such may inspire, influence, encourage & promote PAWSiTiViTY. Not only that, but this is a statement. A statement to my peers/competition, letting them know that as much as I appreciate their work (and the relationships that have spawned from being apart of this music circle), I'm here with a valid PURPOSE.

TiME will tell which of us are really set apart for GREATNESS and which are not. With the upmost respect, I'm trying to CHANGE THE WORLD- what are YOU here for, if not that? If not that, you may need to re-evaluate your purpose. This is the TRUTH as I have come to believe it. Music is POWERFUL in so many ways- and if you aren't using that power to benefit the people around you and those who come in contact with it, then I'm afraid your contribution carries no value- No TRUE VALUE, I should say. Especially NOW when it seems like anyone can sell records..

Enough pep-talk haha.. Regarding "FANTASTiC.", I've brought on the help of my fellow artists; #KELEGi, #MOMUSiQ & #CHUCCNORRiS..

Kelegi (Terrance, as I call him) is the skill behind my latest artwork; "Ride It Out, Run It Back", my SoudCloud header, avatars across all social media, etc. I've been blessed to have his help with the visual presence of my work- has come in clutch so many times, so I'm very appreciative of his time and effort in bringing the appearance of my work to where it is.. FANTASTiC. Haha..

Mo Musiq (SUPER PRODUCER) and I have developed a great chemistry that allows us to bring to you, what you hear. I haven't been able to duplicate such vibe with any other producer, so the content is authentic in it's feel- I'm very grateful for Mo and his art- Such an OUTSTANDiNG musician he is. But aye- somebody tell him he ain't gonna find an artist better than I on his beats. ON THE REAL! Hahaha..

Chucc Norris is not only a Utah native artist, but he is also of my maternity bloodline (#TUiTA). Though Chucc may be new to you, he's actually been with me since I first started years ago. My brother will soon have his debut single ready come 2017, so be on the lookout, my friends. I vouch for his sound, so take my word for it- you already know I'm good for it haha..

This was my last release of 2016- now avail for the NEW YEAR of 2017. Like I've mentioned before, 'twas a slow year for me (2016), but it ain't nothin' a yoko like me can't bounce back from. I'm here for a REASON- and you're favorite artist is only here for now. TRUST & BELiEVE. Thank you all ever so much. I LOVE YOU for your LOVE and support. UP n' UP YASELF!
