I did  this over 5 years back with Johnny Hazard (JNY HZD) here on Soundcloud. I never released it on my page so I am doing it now before I forget to again. I re-mastered it and took out a lot of my earlier back-up vocals for a cleaner sound. This is Johnny's great music. It inspired me enough to ask him if I could have a go at lyrics and vocals for it and luckily for me he said yes. Even better luck was had when he said he liked it enough to release it on his page back in 2016/2017. We hope you enjoy it.

Lost in a Symphony

For a more dense rhythm section I needed agility on bass line so this time, instead of the double bass, I chose to use my old dear electric bass, an old Cort that's been with me since high school. I haven’t played it for a long time, it’s been fun, I think I will do it again soon.
About the picture: actually the place of the photo is not a station or an airport, it is part of a photographic work I made some years ago on the concept of non-place like the big malls. But a non-place is also, some way, an all-places, every places from which to leave or arrive...
The real truth is that I've always liked this photo, for the perspective plane and because it's full of lines with variety of lights and shadows... In short, I couldn't wait to find an excuse to use it :)

Was watching 'Sprung', the comedy series this week, and this song featured in the soundtrack. I hadn't heard it for years. Couldn't get it out of my head. Wondered what it would sound like with some shruti box accompaniment. The rest is history. 
Feeling proper chuffed with myself as I played everything and sang at the same time, using the footpedal for my shruti. (Now I just need to be able to do it with people watching!)

Working freelance as the marketing manager for Universal Hall Promotions in Findhorn l was already immersed in live music, but in 2021 I discovered a passion for writing and performing my own songs. Since then I have taught herself to play tenor guitar and shruti box, incorporating these and looped samples to create multi-layered soundtracks for my lyrics. I can often be found out and about with my Zoom recorder, capturing moments in nature to weave into my songwriting.
