Marcelo Andre Raimondi Casana (born January 14, 1999), known professionally as DJ Marcx, is a Peruvian musician, DJ, producer, composer, drummer, percussionist and remixer based in Lima, Peru. He demonstrated his interest about music and art from an early age, studying some instruments such as piano, violin, drums, cajon, etc, throughout his life, in addition to other disciplines such as acting and magic. He likes almost all musical genres, but his passion for electronic music began approximately on 2009, influenced by various DJ’s from around the world, which spurred his interest to start in this field of music. Later, he studied electronic music production courses on two occasions.
He started empirically as a DJ on 2011 at the age of 12 and officially launched as DJ Marcx on the year 2014 at the age of 15. After finishing school, he decided to pursue a career in music and began studying music at the university (with a specialty in music production) on 2016, where it continues to this day.
He founded "Synestation Radio" on 2017, the first streaming radio for DJs, whose main mission is the dissemination of Electronic music in Peru.
He released his first single as a producer, entitled "Summer Sunshine", on November 2020, being his first single composed entirely by him, both music and lyrics. The song was inspired by the summer and blends Dance and Pop music. It was composed on the summer of 2018; However, it was not produced until 2020. This production also has the featuring of an American singer on the vocal interpretation.
