After debuting for the first time at this year’s We Are FSTVL, producers/DJs MK & Lee Foss and singer/songwriter Anabel Englund have announced their first official release together as Pleasure State. Coming out on Jamie Jones’ and Lee Foss’ label Hot Creations, the group announce the highly anticipated release of 'Ghost In The System’ on December 1st.

Pleasure State is a project driven by the group’s unusual implosive chemistry along with a vision to create melodic and impassioned house music. Their style is dark and sensual with haunting vocals, pulsing beats and uncensored subject matters. Successful in their own right, MK, Lee and Anabel bring a wealth of talent, experience and creativity to this new and exciting group and Pleasure State acts as a natural extension of who they are as individuals.

After Lee Foss met the intriguing Californian talent Anabel Englund, he brought her into his existing collaboration with house heavyweight MK, literally igniting sparks between the group, whose union was formalised with the stand-out track 'Electricity' for Hot Creations.  Pleasure State have carved out the time all over the world to get together and create, and they have now delivered this exceptional EP.

The evocative ‘Ghost In The System’ is inhabited by a sinister presence created by Anabel’s chilling vocal which is accompanied by a bouncing bass and distorted rap and the result in a full on haunting of an atmospheric dance track. The EP features the politically charged and hip-hop influenced dance record ’Subject Matter’ and a 12 minute remix of ‘Electricity’ from Detroit techno legend and Grammy award winner, Carl Craig.

Anabel Englund & Human Life's latest track together is called 'El Diablo' and the original mix will be released on November 24 via Win Music but there's also a remix package scheduled to come out on Shir Kahn's German imprint Exploited.

As well as edits from the likes of Mia Dora and Joyce Muniz there is a thick house rework from Adana Twins and we have the premiere. You can expect soft and euphoric builds and deep basslines from the off. Just what we'd expect from the Twins.

How is it fair that Italians get to be so good at so many things? We all know that the greatest food in the world comes from their fair shores, some of the greatest footballers of all time have worn their famous blue shirts and don't even get me started on Pavarotti. And yet we're supposed to just sit back and take it when they start conquering our ears with sounds such as this new beauty from Margot?

While we sit here with our mountains of teabags and fish and chips wrapped up in newspapers we could be feeling sorry for ourselves as though we lost out on the location lottery. However, rather than moping around we're just going to fill our ears with 'Er Suonone' as Margot take over our ears and lead us to a better place. Sure, we might not quite be as cultured as the Italians but we do know how to listen to music pretty darn well. All you have to do is click play...

What if we told you that you could enjoy the sound of tomorrow today, would you be interested? Forgive for getting all Morpheus on you - that's the black guy from The Matrix for all you teeny boppers out there - but we're a little bit excited here at Data Transmission HQ and Italian producer Lehar's latest production, Number One Hero,  is to blame. 

Making his debut on Diynamic’s sister label 2DIY4, we've been unable to get his new single - or its two accompanying remixes - off our office playlist since it arrived in our bulging inbox last month and so set about securing one of the record's three incarnations for exclusive premiere. 

Unfortunately for us, we were given the opportunity to have our pick of the litter. Much head scratching then ensued and after multiple shouting matches and a narrowly won vote, the ayes had it and we decided that Cologne producer Peter Pardeike's rework was ever so slightly more our cup of tea. That's not to say we don't love Engrave LTD boss Musumeci's version, we do, and with both are set to pick up heavy play in a club near you soon, we're sure you will too. Some times the music just magically comes out, and that is the case here with "Syria" by new Sol*Selectas artist Unders from Amsterdam. After several successful tunes above the 120 BPM mark on labels like Sincopat and Groove On, "Syria" was Unders' first attempt at slower grooves, and an accidental experiment that just "fell into place, and was automatic magic". Syria's current political unrest is all over the news and social media, and the story being painted is difficult to watch. Driven to create a song which goes against all the negative publicity, Unders says "between all the negativity, the more i looked into the situation, the country, its people and its culture, the more this track reminded me of so much beauty the media doesn’t portray." The song itself a slow minimal trip with chopped up guitar licks, a gorgeous flute sample that takes the listener to far off desert lands, and features the vocals of Veerle. Satori is yet another up and coming producer from the Netherlands, gaining instant recognition sharing the stage and studio with Acid Pauli, and producing incredible tunes utilizing live instruments played by himself, and tastefully incorporating these with electronic elements. His remix preserves the original message of "Syria" lowering the BPM to an even more hypnotic 104 BPMs. Satori adds middle eastern strings and chords, swapping out the original vocal for a more Saharan inspired call, and even plays delicately with some acid sounds furthering the listeners journey. 
Both songs are meant to invoke peaceful images of Syria, and conjure up positive intention on the dance floor. Sol*Selectas is very excited to present the debut song "Syria" from Unders, and the amazing remix by Satori, two artists from the Netherlands you would do well to keep your eyes and ears open to in 2016.

Mixing their 4 different musical roots and skills into one new identity, the Sicilian combo have a simple rule: make danceable music. After their debut 12" 'Black Mechanism' on Engrave Ltd put them on the map, Human Machine made an appearance on Connaisseur Recordings with the strong 146 EP still hot in Ibiza and in the most influential DJs' sets. As the Summer draws to a close Serge Devant returns once more to Damian Lazarus’s Crosstown Rebels with the highly infectious ‘This Moment’ EP. Serge original tracks are accompanied by a great Dinky remix, to complete this great package.

Opening up the EP with ‘This Moment’, Devant has created a track that implores the listener to stop and take in all the vibrations, effects and melodies.
