Giving the celebration new purpose Nova Fractal is handed the sacred scepter by none other than arch wizard Dr. Spook who combines forces to issue forth this tome of secret treasures. From the four quarters of the world the call is heard. The prophesied day is coming when the messengers of the skygods would come and reveal to the worthy the arcane secrets and mystical methods. And so it was a gathering like none had ever seen before, Wizards & Warlocks, Witches and Wiccan, Sorcerers and Sychophants, Conjurers and Incantationists, and so many more… on they came bringing their own secret boxes and stuffed stash pouches, chests and coffers, and countless more contraptions of magical might. Together the greatest 20 formed a circle and began a momentous casting of all their most powerful spells, each releasing the power in tandem with the next, fluidly and flawlessly manifesting gestures and uttering half muttered phrases. Celebrating 20 years of the BMSS family and ten years of BMSS the record label, "Return to the Source” brings together sonic synthesis from all corners of the multiverse. 

17 tracks representing the mature tone of BMSS, which has evolved over the last two decades into a style that pays tribute to the source of our scene by disregarding trend and convention. An eclectic selection gathered by label manager and globe trotting DJ Boom Shankar to challenge standards that breed conformity and reflecting his own personal style that prioritizes story and flow over genre and BPM.

The story told by this 20th anniversary release unfolds in two parts. The journey begins by taking you back to the source and the darker side of the Psychedelic spectrum. Chapter 1 revolves around the intense magnetic power of the moon. 

Defiant, relentless energy distilled into: one of the last tracks by the recently departed Hux Flux, new music by psychedelic pioneer Total Eclipse, Japanese production perfection from Majide, Triceradrops and his hybrid psychedelic Techno, Dark Nebula and Datacult’s re-imagined “Beyond that Door” experienced through a Gamma Goblin filter, the prolific PsiloCybian and masterful productions by the legend worthy Braincell, Imaginary Sight and Lucid Mantra. Their sonic wizardry is designed to reinvent and reconnect you as you embark on this epic odyssey through the underbelly of moon-time music.

Clever re-interpretations of ancient Goa trance classics stand alongside the intensely psychedelic visionary art of Aashit Singh. His visual fusion of the old and the new creates a bridge between the past and the present where Plus 6 Masterings' full bodied analog sound gives each audible detail a clearly defined space.

SIDDHARTHA  is a psytrance music project of  Siddharth Tanwar from New Delhi (India) . He is following  music since his childhood , later on in 2008 he got introduced to Psytrance for the first time while in his graduation days at  Bangalore and which made him  travel to Goa  which  changed his vision towards Electronic music.

He started his journey back from 2011 where he started playing in private gathering and Got into Organising 
Psytrance gigs in 2014-15-16 under Bonheur Entertainment .
In 2016 he started following his passion towards music
and joined ILM music academy ( Gurgaon) where he studied introduction to Music production / Pro DJing. Immediately after it he continued playing as a pro DJ and shared the stages with  many great Psytrance Artist from across the Globe.

Shivatree is a psychedelic trance project founded in 2013. by Ilan Fleischman (aka DJ Cholo) from Israel. His style is a fusion of powerful bass lines & a massive rolling melodies involving influence drawn from the old school Goa trance days but still keeping in lines with current techniques of massive sound designing. Shivatree is already playing string of massive gigs at some of the biggest dance floors and festivals all around the globe. Shivatree is ready to take over the scene with a massive storm.
