The conflagration began innocuously at first, smoldering slowly within the heart of the war-torn city. There beneath its streets, within the drains that ran red with the blood of the slain, a concentrated rage had begun to gather which imbued the surrounding atmosphere with a sourceless and oppressive heat. The wooden pipes were the first to burn, forgotten relics of another age that still lay within the ground. Then came the coal that wound its way in veins through the earth beneath the city. It burned with the avaricious greed of conquest, a mineral remembrance of former sieges endured and those slain over what another possessed. From here, the flame began to lick at the surface of the city, blood red in color. Its undulating tongues lapped at the recent dead, kindling their bodies before they could be buried. It roared with power as it consumed the hastily constructed ramparts and barricades that littered the streets, its rage overpowering the fervor of the attacker and the resoluteness of the defender alike, taking what each had sought to claim as their own in a single fell swoop. 

With each passing day, each rebuffed assault, the BLOODFIRE seemed to consume more and more of the city’s streets. It burned strangely, growing only as death occurred around it and not in response to available fuel. Those who saw this urged the fighting to stop, but their cries fell silent over the roar of gunfire and flame alike that engulfed the city each day. Many of those then turned to the flame, transfixed by its enduring nature. It had become their only constant, and its once oppressive warmth had grown comforting over time. Some, bereaved by loss or broken by conflict began to throw themselves into the fire. It was said that they did not scream, but turned softly to ash within the dark red flame. With these each of these sacrifices, the BLOODFIRE grew. Burn it would until blood there was no more, and within these walls, that essence of vitality flowed eternal. 

MIDNIGHT CVLT joins the EATBRAIN roster with his first solo EP, BLOODFIRE, following his recent collaborative single EP alongside Dub Elements for “My Eyes//Emergency Loop”. With BLOODFIRE, MIDNIGHT CVLT makes an exuberant entrance to the EATBRAIN horde, providing four tracks set to burn their way into their listener’s ears with the fever pitch of their red-hot rhythms.

“In the distant future, long after the world had succumbed to catastrophic climate change and nuclear devastation, humanity found refuge in the most unexpected of places—the depths of the sea. The surface had become a barren wasteland, and the survivors were forced to adapt, their civilization evolving into an underwater society.

Amid the vast, uncharted expanse of the ocean's depths, the survivors had established their subaquatic civilization. It was a testament to human ingenuity and resilience. They'd repurposed the wreckage of sunken ships, transforming them into the foundations of their new world, creating a network of interconnected habitats with intricate tunnels and airlocks. Seaweed gardens and schools of bioluminescent fish provided sustenance, and the city's engineers had devised a means of extracting essential resources from the very water that enveloped them.

Yet, for all their adaptation, the surface's haunting memories lingered in the collective consciousness. Tales of barren wastelands, scorched skies, and the desolation of once-teeming cities haunted the dreams of every generation. Her father had taken the photograph, and it was a glimpse into a world that now existed only in the faded memories of the elderly and the frayed pages of history books.”

After almost 2 years of the making, Marek Dadok aka Drop Database finished his path, ready to set his ‘Voyager EP’ free to start its own journey. The four-track release consists of deep atmospheric rollers, stinkers, and storytelling bits that will take you on an adventure from the levels of the sea to the depths of an unknown abyss. And so the Man behind the label’s graphic postproduction after several singles fully enters the imprint of SINFUL MAZE discography, delivering the results of his destined duties.

VII Circle is the guise of Italian duo Andrea Vallisneri and Andrea Casari.

With Andrea Vallisneri on the decks, while Andrea Casari providing live interpretation, the mysterious VII CIRCLE's two visions and musical approach seemingly crash together, with the duo's respective rootes in rock, indie, and experimental.

Forming their unique brand of music production, characterised by hypnotic and dark flavors, with wilderness and shadows give way to electronic sounds without mediation. It's always a difficult task to border an artist to a single musical genre and the production of VII Circle can be traced to the Deep and the Techno, but more generally finds its inspiration in electronic and ambient.

I've been compiling tracks of artists who have remixed some of the classics, for quite some time now, with the intent to make a unique mix. It has been pretty challenging, but these tracks bring me right back to the beginning of learning the mass amount of power music holds within us. Movement. Emotion. Compassion.. Music never ceases to allow us to let go and give in to the waves of sound. So, I felt the need to put this out there, once and for all. I dedicate this to the old at soul and to those who do not fear the feeling of surrender.

We Feel By The Moon

This Distant episode I wanted to try something different. This time I wanted to express the concept of time. Lately it feels like time has slowed down, however, in reality, time is flying faster than ever. One day goes by and before you know it, an entire year has already passed. I tried to reproduce this in this month's episode with music that, for me, has a sense of hope, nostalgia or uncertainty. Let me know how it turned out and if you have noticed that same feeling! Nevertheless, enjoy.
