Depuis quelques années maintenant, BitterCaress s’épanouit à travers son propre cheminement musical. Ayant acquis une solide formation en musique classique après avoir étudié le piano au conservatoire à Paris, c’est à son arrivée à Montréal en 2014 qu’elle est tombée amoureuse de la techno. 
Raveuse professionnelle, organisatrice d’événements techno pendant un certain temps, elle a su développer et enrichir sa culture musicale avant de passer derrière les platines à la fin de l’année 2018. 

Sa sélection pointue révèle un goût prononcé pour les basses lourdes et les rythmes sans concession. Puisant son inspiration dans une techno old school, mêlant des atmosphères ravy à des énergies plus brutes et industrielles, son style est à la fois groovy et énergétique. Créative derrière ses platines, ouvertes à différents genres musicaux et aimant prendre des risques, elle n’hésitera pas à vous jouer ses plaisirs coupables du moment. 
Sa carrière ne faisant que commencer, elle est déjà bien établie sur la scène locale montréalaise avec plusieurs performances à son actif, notamment un passage au Stereo Nightclub, ainsi qu’une résidence au sein du collectif très en vogue, OCTOV. 

Elle a lancé la série de podcasts Mixing for a Cause où elle invite des artistes locaux et internationaux à enregistrer un mix dans le but de sensibiliser leur public à plusieurs causes qui leur tiennent à cœur. A travers cette série et cette musique, elle espère toucher un maximum de personnes et bâtir un monde meilleur.

Letter to the Authorities

Mr kalt, 
Quand j’arrive devant ta porte je ressent les basses qui font vibrer la foule, je l’ouvre le son m’enveloppe et me transporte, je me perds dans ta foule, je fais un passement de jambes avec les bpm puis je retrouve mes amis au coin fumeur. 
La ou tous le monde raconte sa petite vie le temps d’un entracte, un peu comme le repos du guerrier, je reprends des forces. Je fume une clope. 
Puis j’ouvre à nouveau ta porte et me retrouve en haut et je regarde les gens passer en bas comme à un croisement, tous le monde se Check, s’embrasse, se dispute, s’aime, " t’as pas un bail de bail ? " je ne l’entends pas mais le lis sur les lèvres des gens. Ca y est je suis dans le mood, j’ai envie de danser. 
3-4h du matin, je reprends mon 5ème jaegger bomb et je repars prendre un air de son dans la main room, bien vénère, qui tabasse au plus profond de moi, je me défoule jusqu’à plus en pouvoir pour assister au clappement de fin.
