The man that rocks crowds on the daily basics who goes by the name of Shluda well-known as “De Guru”
is a Hip Hop, Naija and Kwaito DJ who got his own style of mixing which has created a major fanbase for his career..
He was hailed from the Springs region ok Kwa Thema. Raised on the beats in an early age when he grew up, He was influenced by the 90s Kwaito Boom Era that inspired him to become a part and also fell in love
with the music industry from young age. Back in his childhood days he was jamming to the music of the likes of Mdu Masilela and also keeping his feet music when he hears songs of TKZee and Arthur Mafokate.
This love and passion for music/beats ended up making him to invest in his future as a budding Musical Producer/Sound Engineer. Because he believed in what he wanted to do then he proceeded to cultivate his natural ear for music by attending a Sound Engineering Course at Allenby Collage, Shluda was lucky enough to attend his Course with the likes of the Maftown Motswako Originator HHP (Hip Hop Pantsula) and also the one and only DJ Cleo.
After completing his Sound Engineering Course he then began to use his experience and start producing music for poplar artists like Mzekezeke, Izinyoka, Mapaputsi and Lebo Mashile.

Many people might know his work what he do and what he did, Shluda is not only a DJ/Producer
he also does Corporate Productions and Title Sequences Production on Tv as he is the one who did the Theme Song for the most popular urban dance show “Jika Majika” that used to be aired on Sabc 1
and currently he also done the Title Sequence for most popular Music Show “Live Amp” (Sabc 1).
Shluda has been in the Entertainment Industry for quite some time he was also a part of the YTKO Djs on the Gps hottest frequency 99.2 Yfm. but without a doubt you can catch Shluda’s Mixes every month on Mo Flava Radio Show on Metro Fm.
He also plays in many venues around Joburg and Mzansi as a whole. He has shared the decks with most popular Djs in the
music industry the likes of DJ Fresh, Zan D, Black Coffee, DJ Capital, Mo Flava, Oskido, DJ Tira, just to name a few.
All of this success leads him to another passion of which he has come to excel in, He ventured out into Dj’ing.
as taken his gifted ear and craft to the next level.
