I remember,  I was there virtually back at the inception of 
Amnesia House est 1988 , in the illegal warehouse dayz .. As they forged a path , And set the template for others to follow..

I Remember looking up at the decks hoping to get a slot, wishing I was behind those decks 🎧🙏🏽 ..
 Yes it was a dream ..that became a reality..💙
With hard work,desire,determination,passion, dedication, you can make things happen , In any field you wish to choose,  if your willing to put in the graft and make sacrifices , side step distractions , And stay focused.. Don't expect things to be handed to you on a plate ..

I was determined to work hard, learn my craft , and earn my respect,You gotta earn your stripes in this game! ....Proud and blessed to still be here , doing my thing , and contributing in a positive way to our special scene.

Here's a mix dedicated to my first ever live experience of Rave culture when I went to see DJ Carl Cox play at Obsession in Wormlow, Herefordshire in early 1992. That night was also my first ever experience with a small Red & Yellow capsule nicknamed 'Rhubarb & Custard'.... ;)

That was one hell of a game changing night for me, with tune after tune of old school piano, rave and Techno all blended together in a way only Carl Cox can. Pretty much from that moment on I've been addicted to collecting and mixing 12 inches of black plastic together, lost in my own little world of this thing called house!

As with all my DJ mixes, this was recorded on two Technics 1210's.

In October 1990 Coventry made dance music history...

That first Saturday night/Sunday morning experience was put on at the former Granada Bingo Hall in Lower Ford Street,Coventry,England.

The bingo hall had now been transformed into a 4 floored nightclub, and was also voted the best nightclub in the country in 1991 by fellow ravers through DJ Magazine. With a chill out space including a cinema on the ground floor, a second floor room enough to hold 500 people, and the main room on the top floor holding over a 1000 people including the balcony.

Every Friday and Saturday night would be filled by clubber's and raver's from all over Britain..

Act's such as :The Prodigy, K Klass, SL2, Altern 8, Moby, Shades of Rhythm and LFO all passed through it's door's with live p.a. set's.

Top dj's such as, The great grooverider,carl cox,sasha,frankie bones,Micky finn,top buzz etc,all graced the decks on a reguar basis,and two hour set's were the norm.

February 94,the club was closed.

At the time of closing more than one million people had passed through its doors and it had a standing membership of 74,000. .

Shock C is one of the main players in the Midlands oldskool and oldskool jungle scene...He cut his teeth as former resident of the famous and legendary 'Eclipse' rave venue in Coventry (U.K.) in the early nineties.&#13;
