This song began all the way back when Manuel was 16 and found love that summer with a girl named Carmen. He remembered her, though, and wrote this song about her all these years later. The title of the song means "Your name has the song," and the lyrics spell out the girl's charms using the letters of her name. Check out the lyrics and the translation below. 
  Using that inspiration, Manuel came up with the song structure and the vocal melodies to a rudimentary drum track with his electric guitar. He then asked Josh if the group would be interested in taking it on. Josh, never being one to refuse a challenging piece of music, and always on the lookout for interesting musicians with whom to collaborate, accepted his kind offer and created a project for the rest of the Eclectic Collecitve to join. He started the whole thing off by adding his bass, to which Ken added his innovative drums, to which Josh redid his bass, as is the typical process in the EC.
  Next up was JJ, who you'd think he'd grown up with Spanish music the way he added the horns, accordion, and piano. Then Stephen stepped in and added his psychedelic and intricate acoustic guitar to the stew. 
  It was all done, except for the mix at this point. Manuel did the honors, and did it very expertly. Stephen mastered it to give it more volume and dynamism, too, as he always does. 
  This was the first, but we hope not the last, time the EC has collaborated with Manuel, although we're all fans of the incredible music on his page. He was a true delight to work with, giving honest, encouraging feedback and helping us shape his song to meet his vision. We hope you enjoy listening to this song as much as we enjoyed creating it.

This song began in the dead of winter on a cold night with Josh sitting in his studio with his acoustic guitar playing along to a looper beat. He loves bossa nova music and wanted to write a song in that style. Of course, he wrote it with the Eclectic Collecive in mind. 
  Josh also came up with the bass line to the looper, but changed it once Ken weighed in with his perfectly suited drum kit. He also added the funky main percussion you hear throughout. Then JJ got involved and laid down that wonderfully melodic organ part you hear in there. Josh, having not laid down a lead guitar part yet, used JJ melodic idea for the first verse, too, because it's so strong. Mark was last to the trough, but added several really stunning parts that added a lot of depth to the whole thing. He's responsible for the horn arrangement that accompanies JJ's organ solo, as well as the horn arrangement and entire break section at the end, which he not only drumed on, but edited and inserted seamlessly, as well. He also added percussion to Ken's percussion throughout the entire song, as well. He still gets paid the same as the rest of us, though 
  This is an example of us Josh introducing an unfamiliar type of music, and it being picked up on and carried through expertly as a group unit. We all love a challenge in the EC, and this fit the bill. We hope you enjoy listening to this song as much as we enjoyed creating it.

This song was written for my beautiful wife Anita shortly after we both met. One of many I've written her, she is after all the love of my life. She put an end to that crazy mid-life crisis I was struggling with for 6 years! I really like this ballad and I re-recorded it this year and wanted Charlie to sing it but he cancelled out on several occasions for personal reasons, so I went ahead and sang it myself, I guess I should have waited!  (please forgive my awful vocals and harms!). It's a very basic and raw song and I didn't record a lot of instruments and I didn't do a lot of overdubs, maybe I should have, maybe a piano or some more strings would have helped it a bit. It's one of my favorite love songs that I have written and it's very personal, both lyrics and medley came to me rather easily and quickly, maybe an hour at most! Those are the best, the ones that come to you without you even having to think about it, they come straight from the heart.

Reggae comes from Mento, Ska and Rocksteady. When Reggae invented dub and toasting, it gave America the technology and ideas which led to Hip Hop's emceeing (later known as rapping) and scratching. Thus Hip Hop was born. Even Gangsta rap came from Dancehall — both speaking about the violence from their neighborhoods.

Now let's take the thing full circle, and have a modern, fast rapper toasting over a punchy & roots ska instrumental! It'll be anachronic for sure, but might be deeply groovy too… cos' it's all nothing but the good stuff.

This "Champion Sound" tune is a piece of art for sure, but it ain't gonna end in a museum though. Instead, it's gonna bring some heavy duty MADNESS on the dancefloors not afraid to tear the roof off !!

After a long time in the waiting line, we are thrilled to present the fourth full length album from Timewarp inc. Yes indeed, this time on wax with a limited 250 copies double 12" black vinyl edition, packaged on a heavy duty gatefold. Yes we are proud to say that this is our third vinyl release to date. Theory of Revolution is a strong album release, bringing 19 freshly produced tracks. A few of them where previous released on singles and ep's and only on the digital domain format though the past years, most of them gained great success & big attention, with many playlists from dj's and radio stations all over the world.

Timewarp inc (aka Angelos Timewarp Stoumpos) managed to provide many new tracks, along the already released ones, while he also managed to remaster them and tried to give a fresh breath to his "old gold" tracks that are still hot and playable out there. 

You can expect a wide range of styles and tempos in this album, from dub and reggae to funk and disco, downtempo to house, and from soul to tropical electronica, all produced and based on wide range and borderless music concept, surrounded by some well cooked mediterranean characteristics. All blended with his unique style of producing, mixing and mastering at his "audiophile analogue studio" in Athens. 

Featuring artists gave their touch on the album songs. Georges Perin contributes on four songs: Theory of Revolution, I'll Be Ok, Realistic (yes, here he also plays the harmonica) and on Tropicaliente with his great talented voice and unbeatable vocals. Jammaroots contributes on Restart and she provides a wonderful and anti-political riddim jam with her great vocal skills. Gobey contributes on Liberty is Our Destiny with his riddim and everything sparkles out the good vibes, while RSN gives a few delicious scratches. The Mage provides his story telling on Economic Boom by bringing his warm trip-hop vocals while Beatride plays the hammond hook. Fanis Karoussos brought his talent over Smoke Miash with his amazing anatolian Santur and his master playing skills. Also we have two remastered versions especially for this vinyl album release. Emma Anagnostou participates on Afrofunk with her etherial soul, funk vocal while George T. provides the warm baseline. Salomi Vasileiadou contributes with her amazing performance vocals on the song Yuil Disco Breaks while Dj Tzinas carries the trumpet hooks. Timewarp Junior (Morpheus) takes the microphone for the first time and he shoots a few words over Tropicaliente. While the seven times DMC champion Sparky T. bring his turntables and scratching skills over four tracks. Alex Ioannou aka Alex The X-King the most wanted main performers on the album provides his great guitars melodies, hooks and riffs on the most album songs but he also brings out a few base lines and the sweet tropical Yukelele sound. Tasos Fotiou appears on Dub in Disco with his sax section, on Reggae on Dope with his silver flute and again with his sax over Yuil Disco Breaks. Niles Philips lents his huge beats for the new version of Bullshit. Nikos BJ and Fanis P. contributes on tracks Afrofunk and Soulfiction with their guitars.
