Another track inspired by Isaac Asimov's 'Foundation' trilogy. Psychohistorians predict the gradual collapse of the Galactic Empire so they set up a Foundation in the periphery of the galaxy to preserve knowledge and reduce the duration of the galactic dark ages.
I used a Fender Telecaster through a modern amp to create the slightly bitter, flattened guitar tone; I'm hoping it adds drama and tension....

Lyrics was generated by freshbots.org algorythms and a bit changed to my vision. English is not my first language of use so if something doesn't make sense then blame my (non)understanding. It was more like fun making. An artistic way to express for "better" listening.

Main sense was about kind of sick, crazy love, unrequited that drive us to the edge of sense of good and evil. This is the kind of love with our suffering that hurts us and others. And when we can't balance the feeling we go over the edge. And all around must go with us. Especially the ONE.

Fun fact:
When I've tried to sing this for a few first sessions, verse "For I am the creeping nightmare, you're (...)" sounds mostly ...different... Constant changing the sentence "unaware" into "underwear" makes me not finished the performance because of permanent laughs on myself. Hope I would never have to sing this on live session because my "professional" sense will never let me skip the mistake unnoticed.

Run Like Hell

This is a toe-tapping sort of song combining amplified and acoustic instruments. A simple, fun love song about a guy who lost the love of his life for years and contented himself with doing "nothin' special"...until he and the girl randomly run into each other again. The flame is rekindled into "somethin' special”. This release is even more special as it is a remake of a previous recording that I entrusted to my "Daniels & Durgy" partner, Nat Daniels (Gentle Rain Records), to remix and produce.
