Who are at this place you come into being. 
But for you this scream is the beginning 
Of a terrifying trip called life. 

Why terrifying, the voice deep in me asks. 
"Life is a gift. 
Savor it in all its colors" aspects, she whispers. 
She’s so close, so warm, so alive. 
I want to believe her, but I can’t.

What you have does not last forever, 
What you love will be taken. 
You are born breakable, 
You will die broken. 

She talks about the balance. 
The fortune precedes the sorrow 
And follows it at the same time. 
Grow up, find love, have children. 
Feel the sun, listen to the rain, dance with the wind.

So she asks me to change and to come to her side

Dans La Peau - a love story where the girl questions herself time after time and struggles to feel good about her position within the relationship so, she starts changing to be able to work it out.

Depicted through the sounds of Ash and Amelie, it started as a “frenchy structured” song with just a piano and a few percussions lined with Amelie’s voice. Then, making it more modern with synthesizers but also keeping the acoustic elements from the guitar and saxophone. The song is a balanced mix between acoustic and electronic with hints of a dialogue from the vocals and the guitar - a favorite technique of Ash’s.
