I Tried

Originally released in 1998 as part of the indiepop list's "The Family Twee" compilation double cd. The band name was credited as Zapato instead of Shoestrings.

Take Me With You To Japan

Cowly Owl was a small label out of France/California in the late '90s. Around 1997 or 1998, they released a 29 song indie-pop compilation cassette called "Pop Machine". This demo was the 1st track on the 2nd side of the compilation. It's been remixed in 2014 from the original 8-track master tape.
