The Profondo EP is without doubt a technical effort where Simstah showcases his craftmanship throughout the opening cut Profondo by skillfully building a soothing tension that maintains it's charachter by the use of several subtle transformations. Camouflage is the roaring bit. The dark theme of the cut alligned by otherwordly pads and thumping yet playful drum sounds make for an exalted slice of Drum & Bass that's perfect for the more adventurous club situations. Last but not least Take Me Back smooths things out with its cinematic tones and hazy piano riffs.

We welcome Russian producer Spline for a debut release, titled the ‘Injection EP’.

Instantly gripping us with title track ‘Injection’, Spline has a penchant for crisp drum work and snapping snares, cocooned by gritty, low end growls. Allowing plenty of space in in the mix, the music retains a constant swing throughout.

With two tracks more rolling, Spline switches up the EP with two more experimental steppers ‘Be Elephant’ and ‘Move’, as relentless percussive combos strike from all sides, whipping up a dose of half time hysteria.
