A remix of one of the most stunning slices of bass-heavy annihilation in D&B history, Shogun Audio is delighted to present Break's remix of Icicle & SP:MC's 'Dreadnaught'.

A stone-cold classic from the Shogun catalogue, 'Mr Freeze' aka Icicle and SP:MC linked up on the original record back in 2011. 808-shaking and speaker-pulsating - this combination of astonishing production and lyrical mastery created the perfect club banger.

Now after months of mystery and countless reloads across festivals this year, legendary DJ and producer Break returns to Shogun with his incredible remix of 'Dreadnaught'. Infusing all the brilliance of the original with his unmistakable signature sound, Break's remix breathes new life into a bonafide D&B classic.

Break's remix of 'Dreadnaught' is also part of the 20 Years Of Shogun Audio LP. This 20-track deep album features 10 exclusive remixes of our catalogue’s most legendary releases alongside 10 pieces of groundbreaking new music from a selection of drum and bass’ most exciting talents.

Pharaosa proudly represents the underground scene of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Where for years, he has been deeply inspired by many of the local artists and events.

A percussionist at heart, he was drawn to Drum & Bass, and of course Dubstep, specifically Dungeon/Deep/Tech. Through this sub-genre, he found the sound that he wanted to be associated with. The deeper he went down the rabbit hole, the more inspired he became. Some of his earlier findings were releases by Darj, Dark Entity, Mishva, Subreachers and Leon Switch. After years of enjoying countless events, Pharaosa made his debut at Even Further 2018 with Aimerie and Kryptic Disciple. Shortly after he was asked to open for Joe Nice, and Ternion Sound at the following Subsequential event. 

Over the past few years, Pharaosa focused all of his efforts into Drum and Bass. Finding a lot of inspiration from artists like: Creatures, Bredren, Thematic, Minor Forms, & Geostatic. After spending most of 2023 creating his own sound, he started to reap the benefits of those efforts. Opening for Chase and Status, Reso, Mefjus, Camo & Krooked, and making his Infrasound Music Festival Debut was just the beginning..
