In a world of saturation where so many others copy, emulate and imitate, Metalheadz once again continues on a path to create, push boundaries and originate.

To finish off the release, the vinyl salutes back to early origins of the label and includes all three tracks on one lovely piece of black vinyl gold, the lead track A side and two tracks on the flip, all finished perfectly with original Metalheadz centre art to complete the package – You’ll probably be best buying two, one to play and one to leave untouched!

After the storming success of Fracture's outing on METHXX02 Friske quickly follows up with both tracks “Covert” & “Venture” on METHXX03 

“Covert” kicks things off with a deep excursion that cleverly steps its way through the unknown, a precise juxtaposition of effects and haunting stabs that swell in balanced unison throughout an ever-evolving arrangement. The A side is nothing short of the highest calibre of drum and bass music and the perfect addition to the METHXX catalogue.

The flipside sees Friske bring some smoother vibes to the forefront with “Venture” The B Side cleverly meanders with effortless ease through intricate melodies against a backdrop of smooth evolving pads, creating the perfect canvas for the foreground of perfectly weighted drums and exactly the right weight of B-line bounce to keep things moving.

Overall the whole 12” exemplifies Friske’s highly accomplished production prowess with a release that has the Metalheadz signature stamped all over it and once again all finished off in the hugely desirable and collectable METHXX packaging

It seems like producing a super legit remix of a DIRTYPHONICS track is like a right of passage only bestowed upon the most gifted of music makers, as witnessed by Kastle's remix Dirtyphonics' "Hanging On Me"; laid back and fresh, "Hanging on Me (Kastle Remix)' is like a breath of clean air on this #dirty track. Kastle, who is known for infusing the sounds of R&B with edgier dubstep influences, sheds a whole new light with his chilled out rendition.

Methxx04 takes an international direction and sees the Metalheadz debuts of  ArpXP & Reza hailing from Italy and Poland respectively.

"Unknown Feeling" by Reza is a dubbed out minimal journey into drum and bass. Melancholy chords combine with snippets of vocal and a sparse break, which are all underpinned by the weightiest of basslines. With two tracks of this quality it's no wonder this release is a double A side.

We are officially ten years old. Officially, because 2003 was the year of our first release: 'Silicon' on Nerve Recordings. It was written at Nik's parents' house in Donderen, Drenthe. A small village in a rural area (population: 300). Not exactly the typical breeding ground for futuristic drum&bass... We didn't know anyone who was into what we were into, not in Donderen, not at our school (those three odd guys with their headphones on all day listening to that crazy fast computer music), not in Groningen as a whole, and even in Holland there were only a few people pushing that sound that we were after. At that time, vinyl sales had started to decline, and the 'golden era' of dark/ tech/ futuristic d&b (whatever you want to call it) seemed to be over, while we were singularly about that sound. Not the best time and place for us to start you could say.

But being an island of three friends making music wasn't so bad. As a matter of fact they were amazing years. It's strange to think that we were so focused, in between all the hanging out, smoking weed, playing games and catching jokes we actually took a serious life-changing path without fully realizing it. When we decided we needed management in 2006, we hired another friend from high school, Walter - who had no training, just like us. We're pretty sure he didn't fully realise what he would get himself into!

And then there was the Internet. Through things like AOL Instant Messenger, the Dogs on Acid & Drum & Bass Arena forums (shouts to all the crew from back then!) we found a way to connect to a scene that was only beginning to discover the possibilities - and consequences - of being online. This internet world is how we got our music out there. It seems dead obvious now, but it really wasn't back then. We got our first exposure through a website called 'electronicscene.com': our track 'Drifter' was even featured on the homepage. Think Soundcloud but ten years ago (the domain name has since changed but there's still a demo up there from 2002... It's quite embarassing but here you go: artistserver.com/noisia). Anyway one thing led to another, we met dj Mayhem online, he signed us to Shadow-Law Recordings, helped us on our path, introduced us to people, we signed 'Silicon' to Paul Reset's Nerve Recordings, and then came our first real DJ gig abroad in Budapest in January 2004…

And now we are here - ten years of releases under our belt and a million followers on Soundcloud. Over the years we have met many incredible musicians, labels, deejays and industry people that we consider our friends and that have inspired us, helped us and taught us things. But in a way, we are still that island. Our crew has just grown, but we're still out in Groningen, with our own studios, our own management, our own music on our own labels, trying to do things in a way we think is good.

Having said all this retrospective old man shit, it's important to also mention that we don't feel 'arrived' or 'settled' in any way. It feels like we have only just begun. We're aching to write new music (new Noisia album dammit!). From windy and rainy Groningen: Thank you all for your amazing and enduring support over these last ten years. Here's to the future!

"The third installment of Rotation UK's 'Definitions Of The Deep' has arrived. With first two LP's featuring some of biggest names in Drum & Bass, the third has a hard act to follow. 
It's safe to say it has succeeded to be a fantastic arrangement of some of the best intelligent Drum & Bass available today. 
Our first dive into the deep introduces lush cinematic pads and melodies with a crisp set of percussion to keep the head nodding. Beautifully mysterious vocals sway in and around the mix. 
SoundNbeats, Keosz and Seathasky's talents made their music the sure pick to kick of the current. 
Continuing onwards we come across lovely progressive vocal choirs, summery chords and euphoric vocal cuts by Stunna, Intersolar, Marso and Gala. 
Beloved amen breaks and reverb laden sax cuts come into play next with SoulTec, Static and Spero's addition to DOTD III with their track 1939. 
Classic Nuage influenced beats and dark bass lines keep the ball rolling fast and true. Picked guitar leads, Sweet guitar leads and rustic drum patterns remind us of the liquid roots of Part 3. 
Sensual sax and jazzy riffs eek the listener onwards, fast un-relenting drum breaks keep us on our toes while arpeggiated melodies scurry through the mix. Ethnic drums and strange synths create the basis for energetic vocal cuts to pave the wave. 
Definitions Of The Deep has returned for Part III and has succeeded in continuing the renowned franchise and by living up to high expectations. 
Rotation UK is becoming the go-to-place for Drum & Bass, competing with the biggest in the business. DOTD III has proved this fact"
