Our 10th podcast welcomes the founders of the Weimar based collective Metaware. Next to organising and promoting parties in Weimar, Metaware is a network for the local flinta artists in the music and visual world. They're organisers of the “Sweets’n Beats” safe space event program that books artists only from marginalised communities and they host a feminist reading circle in the local Café Spunk. As DJs, the residents host their own radio show Metaspace. 

The duo has also sit down with us for our German language discussion series Technostilleben. For this podcast, they've delivered a high intensity mix only from female artists and artists from the flinta community. Enjoy!

@atikaaltar is a female DJ and producer from Singapore. She has been DJing for a total of 9 years and moved to Europe about a year ago during lockdown. Atika Altar is currently based in Warsaw, Poland.Her motivation behind being involved in music is simply the love for listening, collecting, playing and making it. It makes her feel good and therefore she has written to us that she can't imagine her life without it.
 
The idea behind this mix is playing some fast, interesting and wild tracks from her collection that she never got to play back in Singapore due to the scene's setting. The mix quickly evolves into a bundle of gloomy and hypnotizing, yet still unexpected sounds.

La vuelta a Radio Relativa. WE FOREIT are back, after the summer break, bleary eyed and bushy tailed with a bag full of new records and a belly full of dreams.

This was recorded just before we headed to play at the Hypnotica Colectiva XVI Anniversary in Valencia, so we decided to start things out this month with some of HC’s finest and a cracking track by Colombia’s Filmmaker. 

A Spanish influence runs through our selections with month with Corp, Dip Shim, Mynationshit and Sed Blava as well as labels like Masa Series and Noise to Meet You; we’ve even managed some Spanish italo care of Tolerance.

Chris digs deep into the crates, resurfacing with electrofunk from Newcleus and wave floorfiller Night Moves. The machines are also centre stage with Roger Van Lunteren hitting some heavy numbers on Something Happening, Somewhere and 030303. Techno gems come care of Luke Slater and PA Presents on U-Trax with some soothing electronics, drawing Summer to a close, by, Konduka and Finnnish masters Pan Sonic.

WE FORFEIT, easing ya back into the office.

This South London based dj is originally from San Antonio, TX, Chupacabras first started djing while living in Barcelona around 2001 playing at Bar Benidorm and Club Del Mar. Originally leaning more towards Detroit Techno and Electro artists he quickly fell into Miami Bass, Ghetto House, Italo Disco and Chicago House. After sweating it out in the underground illegal party scene for a few years he became resident in one of the secondary rooms at Nitsa Club/Apolo called Sala Neon. There he got to know the likes of Legowelt, I-F, Angel Molina, DMX Krew, Andy Weatherall, Marco Passarani and John Talabot to name a few. He also worked alongside Dj Zero at Wah Wah Records at this time in the “Dance Room”. 

In 2004 it was time to move to New York. Upon arrival he delved deeper into all things underground such as disco, boogie and soul while still playing house, techno and electro. During this time he also travelled many times to Detroit learning from some of the best.  Focusing more on production these days and residing in London, expect a lot of upcoming releases, a bit of djing and more live sets.

Artista colombiana, activista trans y no-binarix, fundadora del sello Fragment A. Difícil de catalogar, trabaja con un estilo emocional y cinematográfico, sin géneros definidos. Durante mucho tiempo se presentó como ruidista y conservó esa esencia hasta en sus más recientes producciones basadas en beats, las cuales oscilan entre estilos como IDM, Techno, Electro y Ambient.
