Pangeia is the psytrance project of Eduardo Pereira and João Matos. This name originated from the supercontinent there before the continental drift, where everyone and everything was "together" in a single continent. 

They try to follow this idea even in their tracks by using various sounds from different cultures and different parts of the world, and the main goal is always for people to dance together no matter where they are from. In their opinion, sharing the dancefloor with one another is great to bring people together. 

The name of the EP was initially due to a relocation of one of them: Eduardo was living in the Netherlands and he returned to his hometown in Portugal, where Joao lives too. This was a huge TURNING POINT for them because for the first time they get to be together and produce together.

A great way to begin 2022! Blast off !

Roughly 11.5 million years ago in a galaxy not too far away, a starquake cracked the surface of a small and violent stellar corpse. This rupture caused an enormous flare that sent X-rays and gamma rays racing across the universe. After traveling for millions of years, the flood of high-energy radiation finally washed over our inner solar system just before 5 A.M. EST on April 15, 2020, lighting up the sensors of spacecraft orbiting the Sun, Earth, and Mars. The signal lasted just a fraction of a second, but it still offered telltale clues about where it came from.

And just a few weeks ago, a team of scientists studying the event announced they've deduced the bizarre origins of this cosmic flood of radiation. The signal came from a strange star called a magnetar — short for magnetic star — an extreme object that packs the mass of our Sun into a city-sized sphere.

This episode is presented by Xerox (Moshe Keinan), one of the most respected veterans in Psy-trance music and one of HOMmega's founders (together with his late friend, Eyal Yankovich). Xerox is a producer who's been influencing the sound of the genre in the last 25 years. His debut album 'Human Race' (with Freeman) had a significant role in the transition of Goa- trance into 'Full-on' and helped to shape the popular sound of HOMmega in the late 90'. In 2004, Moshe teamed up with Amir Dvir to create the project Xerox & Illumination and bring to the world a unique and electrifying dark Full-on. Vertical Mode (his project with Volcano) is one of the leading acts of the Progressive Psytrance era, with countless Beatport #1 hits since 2013 and till this very moment. Xerox has just released a brand new original compilation called 'Age of Soularity'.
