Second song in the Short Pieces for Piano series, admittedly a little harmonically immature but in my opinion not bad.

Short Pieces for Piano: Adagio in D minor (op. 1 no. 2)

This piece is the third piece in the Short Pieces for Piano series. It was sort of an experiment with arpeggios creating sort of one big chord when utilized with the pedal correctly, and personally I love the key structure of this piece.

Short Pieces for Piano: Reverie in C major (op. 1 no. 3)

You are in your office when you hear a commotion from out the window, on the ground 100 feet below you. When you take a peek away from your boring office work, you see a rip. Not a rip in the ground, a rip in REALITY. The fire alarms go off and the police come. They are never seen again. You can only curl up and wait for the rift to swallow the entirety of the office building, with you inside.

Sorry it’s been a while (busy summer, am I right?!?!). This is the second movement in my multi movement work titled “World” (The first movement was the English dance)

This song, contrary to the English Dance, is in Phrygian, or, more specifically, Phrygian DOMINANT, where instead of the third degree being flat in normal Phrygian, the three is natural, leading to the feeling of Arabian folk songs and other traditional works.

Phrygian Dominant is most used in Flamenco and Arabian traditional music, or to invoke feelings of heroism or excitement. NORMAL Phrygian itself invokes feelings of dread or creates a threatening tone.
