Shoureshi, Full Name: Faryad Shoureshi, is an independent, underground hip-hop artist born on April 10, 2000, in Tehran.
He began his artistic journey in 2013 and started his professional career in 2015, focusing on protest, political, street, and socially conscious rap.
His music stands as a voice for the unheard, confronting corruption, social disorder, injustice, and behavioral decay.

A graduate in IT engineering from the University of Tehran, Shoureshi chose the underground over the conventional, seeing music not as entertainment, but as resistance, awareness, and rebellion. His lyrics challenge any structure that obstructs human growth and dignity.

Shoureshi's work explores a wide range of styles—from classic hip-hop to Persian drill, NY drill, Afro drill, Detroit type, hybrid trap, dubstep trap, hardtrap, and electronic—but his core remains tied to meaning, independence, and identity. Themes such as underground culture, existential resistance, personal freedom, idealism, and societal awakening define his sound.

He often cites Bahram Nouraei as a major influence, especially in his protest-driven works, and positions himself in contrast to the commercial, diluted wave of modern rap. Shoureshi's art is rooted in sincerity, depth, and defiance.

Among his most notable songs are "Chand" (2016), released under the Fatwa Label, which samples the powerful voice of poet Ahmad Shamlou and portrays Iran's political reality;
"Velvet Revolution" (2017), created at age 15 with Diak; and "Mo'ud" (2022), released during nationwide protests, serving as a sonic manifesto of resistance.

In 2024, Shoureshi released his first official album titled SIDELESS, consisting of 7 tracks in collaboration with Dani Richmind, Wartan, and KillerBeatz. The album marks a pivotal evolution in his career, blending raw street energy with sharp lyrical insight.

He has collaborated with underground artists such as Diak, Dani Richmind, KillerBeatz, Wartan, Sali, Mohammad Salehnia, Arian Dousti, and ERFVN, maintaining full creative autonomy throughout his journey.

Visually, Shoureshi embraces a dark, militant, street aesthetic—custom outfits, masks, bold posture—all forming a visual identity that mirrors his lyrical mission: to stand defiant, raw, and untamed in the face of oppression.
