A track inspired by the film "Target Earth" (1954), in which the hero is our trusty synth friend, the humble Oscillator. (My assessment submission for the "Music Production" module of the Point Blank Music Diploma course.)

Falling Through The Cracks

My assessment submission for the "Creative Audio" module of the Point Blank Music Diploma course. The assessment brief was to use existing music and foley sounds to create an original new piece of music. The track contains samples from "Visions of China" by Japan for the drums, which I re-sequenced and reworked. The guitar was from "Nine While Nine" by The Sisters Of Mercy and again re-requenced and reworked, and the vocals and flute are from "Chant From The Thracian Plain" by Le Mystère des Voix Bulgares (also known as the Bulgarian State Television Female Vocal Choir), which was sampled from vinyl, causing the scratching you can sometimes hear. I also added a load of strings, chords and the bass line.

My assessment submission for the "Creative Production and Remix" module of the Point Blank Music Diploma course. The assessment brief was to remix the original track in our own production style, and I remixed this as an 80's track.
