I worked quite hard on the production and mixing on this track. It talks about finding yourself again after the end of a long term relationship.

My daughter and I were watching a RoomieOfficial YouTube video about multiples songs that have the same name. One of these titles was "Hit The Lights". We decided to have a competition to see who could write the best song title "Hit The Lights" and here is mine. I'm not 100% sure what genre it is, I'm guessing Country-Pop-Rock or something like that. I've used driving as a metaphor for life.

This song is the antithesis of my previous track, Higher. It's heavily influenced by 90s grunge, and aims to portray the lowest point in someones life, with a hint of hope.

Kisses (feat. bbyclose / BXLNT REMIX)

My assessment submission for the "Creative Audio" module of the Point Blank Music Diploma course. The assessment brief was to use existing music and foley sounds to create an original new piece of music. The track contains samples from "Visions of China" by Japan for the drums, which I re-sequenced and reworked. The guitar was from "Nine While Nine" by The Sisters Of Mercy and again re-requenced and reworked, and the vocals and flute are from "Chant From The Thracian Plain" by Le Mystère des Voix Bulgares (also known as the Bulgarian State Television Female Vocal Choir), which was sampled from vinyl, causing the scratching you can sometimes hear. I also added a load of strings, chords and the bass line.
