Seine stimmigen Sets sind auf jahrelange Erfahrung an den Decks und ein ausgeprägtes musikalischen Gespür zurückzuführen. 
Steht er live an den Decks, schafft er es bereits nach kürzester Zeit das Publikum mit seinem Set mitzureißen und ist daher ein gern gesehen Gast in den Clubs und auf Open Airs von Hamburg über Berlin bis München.

Having been going to Fusion for 10 years, this was a dream come true and I probably never was so excited and nervous before a set. Although I imagined how it hopefully would be, the moment itself exceeded my expectations and I just couldn't stop smiling. I feel very grateful that my vision of what a sunrise at Fusion can sound like resonated so well with you all.. 
Please excuse the occasional audio glitches - there was a voltage problem with the mixer which made the audio cut out at random moments. There aren't too many of those though :)

A Sunrise at Fusion Festival - Seebühne, 2018

Shroombab, DJ, producer and founder of High Tension Recordings, is a fixed “institution” of Austrias drum&bass-scene. She was born in Upper Austria and moved to Vienna in 1997 – where she started to change her instruments from flute & guitar to turntables & sequencers. Successfully: Gigs in over 28 countries all over the world and several record releases on quality labels followed.

Shroombabs efforts to create her own music and get perfect at spinning records were strong. But not enough, she combined creativity with her talent to organize things: She set up her own Drum’n’Bass clubnight called “Bass Land” (with MC Terra), her own label “High Tension Recordings” and founded the “Junglistic Sistaz” – first a successful girls duo with MC Terra, later a database for women in drum&bass, which got a quality reference for female DJs especially in Eastern Europe.

Apart from numerous national DJ bookings at the best and most established clubs all over Austria, Shroombab got a residency at D.Kay & Raw.fulls weekly clubnight "Beat It" at the famous Flex in Vienna which is running since 2004. Her international DJ-gigs brought her to places like Cape Town, Johannesburg, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Talin, Seattle, Paris, London, Barcelona, Berlin, Bukarest, Bratislava and many more. 

2014, djing for 16 years, she still delivers the same quality as ever. It doesn't matter if she plays in front of 100 or 5000 people, in small smokey clubs or huge heavy raves, Shroombab always knows how to rock the crowd and give them what they want. Watch out for her uplifting, spooky and moving DJ-Sets and some strong tunes besides genre-boarders. Her favorite producers are Calyx, Matrix, Ed Rush & Optical, Teebee, Break, Benny Page, Deekline, Ils, Aquasky, DZ, High Rankin, Skream, Marlow and many more.

At some point Drum&Bass was not enough anymore and she got infected by the genres breaks and dubstep as well. In 2005 Shroombab startet to play dirty breaks with electro influence as well under her nick "REMODEL". In 2007 she also got into filthy dubstep. After a Bounce-Party with DJ Chef in Vienna she got totally hooked on the huge basslines that originally brought her to drum&bass. A few month later, her first dubstep tune ever got signed two hours after finishing it – by the well-respected DUBKRAFT label from Romania. More things to follow!

2008 Shroombab decided to bring her label High Tension back to the market. She has released several tunes and remixes ranging from drum&bass over breakbeat to dubstep so far. In the winter of 2010 Shroombabs debut album SPLENDID! was released.
