I love to share Soul, Funk and Disco and a whole lot more. I have been heavily into rare grooves of the R&B variety since the early 2000's enjoying the club scene in Leeds Northern England where I essentially grew up. I love it all from Northern Soul to rare disco...if its uplifting funky and danceable I'm all over it!
I got my first turntables in 2013 living in Northern BC and have been enjoying playing Serato vinyl whenever I get the chance!
Moved to Rossland in 2016 and have really been enjoying the vibrant dj scene here. In 2020 transitioned to playing boutique events around the kootenays and recorded a monthly radio show Regen Rhythms for https://www.iamsoundacademy.com and Kootenay Coop radio.

Jordy Joans has been DJing and performing for over a decade, starting in LGBT spaces for fun and now holding residencies or playing guest spots in venues across Scotland. Infusing house, disco, pop edits and party classics in most of my set lists.

I have Performed and DJ’d events & festivals since 2015, including sharing stages with celebrities: B*Witched, Jedward, Tulisa, Kerry Katona, Rupaul’s Drag Race UK & US, N Trance, HRH Prince Edward and more.

Hosted and MC’d events across the UK with organisations like the BBC, National Theatre of Scotland, Aberdeen Performing Arts and Creative Youth (London) and present for radio stations/podcasts.

I am also a Vocalist and musician, with several songs due for release in 2024, after my first release with record label Lady of the House in 2023.

Full Frontal (Sneaky Pete’s in May) Radge Madge Day Party (The Street) in July and MUGSTOCK (Festival) in August.
