This week we are proud to present you seriously good mix from fast rising star Pulso, who proves us his skills to be top tier quality both as a dj and a producer. Enjoy the trip and look out for Pulso: he's coming on strong.

Bio:
Founding member of the SRIE Records label where he contributes his musical pieces and mastering knowledge since 2013 in Buenos Aires, Joel Pulso challenges the stablished structures in the musical framework since his style became more definitive, experimental, analogous and hypnotic, developing a unique imprint, based on minimalism and the collage method through home-made recordings.

His project and musical focus exposes the objective of immersing the listener on his semantic field, going from psychical and cerebral music, to the most sci-fi & loopy danceable style through his productions and sessions.

Pulso is part of the great Argentine scene providing musical legacies in renowned labels such as Subsist, Semantica, Float, Antiterra, Mindtrip, KEY Vinyl and in its own signature SRIE, where in each release along with Translate, deliver quality music and concept, giving rise to the best artists oscillating within their sound´s framework.

Since the end of 2022 a new label was born which is dedicated to the manufacture of cassettes and CDs called "Histéresis" where, together with his partner Uma Soundsystem, Pulso performs the position of mastering (Digital and Cassette) and graphic material for each edition, which are produced at home and manually and delivered to the globe; these editions can be found in his official bandcamp (/Pulsojoel) and in the official Histéresis account too.

In parallel to his music and minimalist style of work, Joel Pulso develops cover arts under the name of Fractales DIY, formerly publisher of fanzines and handmade books, currently factory that spits out the crudest and surreal analog collages which are part of the catalog that defines his vision as an artist.

Our 18th instalment is here and we invited Kai van Dongen, a Producer, DJ & Vocalist from Johannesburg, South Africa.

Based in London for the past 7 years, Kai has built up a prolific discography across labels like Truncate, Enemy, Second State, Ei8ht, Roses Are Red and his own bandcamp imprint - KVD records.

His productions span across techno, electro, rave and electronica and can be heard at clubs and festivals around the world including spaces like Berghain, Bassiani and Tresor by DJ’s like Luke Slater, Rødhåd, Truncate and Dustin Zahn.

His mixing style has been described as rhythmic, incisive and angular with track selection leaning toward an anything with soul approach. This has seen him play in cities like Amsterdam, Lisbon, Los Angeles & Phoenix as well as release mixes on various podcast series and radio stations like Bassiani, Reclaim Your City, DifferentSound, TOYTOY & Radio Fritz on both digital and vinyl media.

The term "artist to watch" gets thrown around a lot these days, especially with the volume of new artists entering the scene with unprecedented access to tracks, information, and technology. Often, however, it's a certain attitude that elevates the true heads above the groundswell of an ocean of new artists, and Connor Wall is unquestionably of this ilk.

Inspired from past, present and future experiences - Connor's creative constancy has allowed him to shape his sound into the organic, weighty, and effective tracks you can hear on labels like Treatment, Float, Phorum and WSNWG.  There is a potent, heart-palpitating sonic representation that accompanies anything Connor does, and part of the reason why he is such an exciting prospect leading into the future. His devotion to a particular sound and approach has driven his ability to grow rapidly since entering the scene just a few years ago, and it is this obsession that will continue to allow him to blossom. He’s an artist to watch by all accounts, and whether it’s DJing or producing, he is emerging as an essential feature of Australia.

PHYR Records launches its debut episode with an electrifying one-hour set by the label’s visionary founder, Pyramidal Decode. 

This new series showcases the core of PHYR Records: dark, hypnotic, and powerful techno, brought to life with immersive, flashy club visuals that transform the dancefloor into a pulsating audiovisual experience.

For this inaugural episode, Pyramidal Decode crafts a journey through the label’s signature sound, blending atmospheric textures with relentless industrial rhythms. The visuals, synchronized with the music, create a futuristic club atmosphere-perfectly capturing the essence of PHYR’s identity.
Pyramidal Decode is the alias of Francesco De Marzo, a prolific Italian techno producer and DJ born in 1998.
Known for his genre-defying approach, he moves fluidly between ambient techno and hard industrial, creating mind-bending, hypnotic soundscapes.
 
Starting his musical journey as a guitarist, he later embraced electronic instruments, developing a unique production style that manipulates and distorts sounds into new forms.

Since launching the Pyramidal Decode project in 2017, he has released music on renowned labels such as Axis Records, Dynamic Reflection, MORD, Warm Up and his own Phyr Records.

His sets and productions are celebrated for their emotional depth and technical mastery, making him a rising figure in the international techno scene.

Shubin is the name of a mythological spirit that roams the mines. According to some legends, Shubin is a good spirit who protects miners from hazardous gas. According to others, Shubin is a vengeful spirit causing trouble.

This project strives to bring back online DJ mixes that were once available for listening but have since been lost in time. These "Lost Gems" vary in terms of genre with the main focus being put on techno, house, and electro.

Éxpose is the second series of the project, providing a musical platform for both upcoming and established artists whose sound resonates with the project's vision. Currently, the focus is on artists from Bulgaria, with more countries to follow.

Lastly, the project also organizes events aimed at creating a deeper cultural connection for the listener, with a primary focus on the music itself.
