This song was released in 2002, and I was immediately intrigued. It seems almost hopeful at first, but goes dark very quickly. I never thought I could sing it because of the male-to-female change and the key change, so I worked on this one for a really long time. Eventually, I found a comfortable place with it and I hope you find the same.
