The birds spoke their own majestic language amongst the tall, tall trees. They were hidden away out of sight between the green shrubbery and the dusty leaves. Within the greenhouse they could not be disturbed by forces beyond the glass, no predator or villain was here to catch them up there amongst the blossoming swamp. The noise echoed in the chamber of light, the noise from outside was gone, wiped away by the silent tomb of the isolated space. 

Tambo's House have found a home on Vulcan Venti as the label prepares to release a four track EP packed with rhythmic influences from the East.

Although he initially emerged from the UK's murky post-dubstep landscape, Blawan has gradually become one of the country's most reliable techno talents. Since 2015, he's been releasing the bulk of his music via his own Ternesc label, and the imprint is now set to issue his 'Nutrition' double EP on October 2. Ahead of that, we debuted the ominously tweaky stomp of lead track "Mayhem" on Red Bull Radio's First Floor, our weekly look at what's new in electronic music.

Combining forces, Audiofly and Patrice Bäumel draw on unique inspirations from the desert to deliver the monumental Atacama on Crosstown Rebels. Having focused solely on his own productions in the past, label boss Damian Lazarus steps away for the first time to complete this exceptional release with a profound re-shape.

The hypnotic Atacama intricately builds with a certain intensity that never drops, stimulating the senses and transporting the mind as deep, grumbling pads drift in and out of play. Damian Lazarus remembers “the first moment I heard this track I knew there was something very special about it, not only did it strike me as a killer club record but I also felt the textures completely appropriate to my own experiences in the Atacama desert.” On the flip, Damian changes gear as a deep, chugging beat leads the way through an impressive re-shape of the original.

Anthony Middleton and Luca Saporito aka Audiofly have established a creative empire, which includes two record labels and their Flying Circus global party brand. They met Patrice during a US tour and immediately hit it off. “It wasn't long after that we decided to invite him to Barcelona for a session that proved to be nothing short of Inspirational.”

Internationally renowned DJ and producer Patrice Bäumel has had a busy start to 2017 with a release on Tale Of Us’ Afterlife imprint, plus remixes for Sasha & Policia and Depeche Mode amongst others. He truthfully said of the this release, “it's a labour of love that came together within a few hours of jamming in the studio, unlike many 'collabs' this one really felt like we all equally contributed to the end result.“

Barnt and Stephan Bodzin, two artists whose stand-out performances at recent Afterlife events have made them firm favourites with the crowds, are tapped for the remixes of Tale Of Us & Vaal's latest single 'Monument' (AL006). They both take on the title track, Barnt opting for a rolling, percussive direction and Bodzin more ethereal and transportive. For the digital-only third contribution, Adriatique (the Swiss duo of Adrian Schweizer and Adrian Shala) give the drums some extra punch and cloak the vocal in spacey reverb.

Tale Of Us & Vaal - Monument (Stephan Bodzin Remix)

The water flowed back and forth as the tide began to rise. It had rained significantly that day and the water was a dirty, dark muddy shade of brown. A barge moved slowly down the stream, it's proud bright colours were illuminous against the colourless grey backdrop. Operating at an alternative current the boat seemed almost as if it were in a world alone. It ceased to exist within the dull, uninteresting expanse which swamped all things in this town. 

Healing Force Project will release a new EP on the recently launched record label On Board Music. The Italian producer has previously released music on the likes of Firecracker, he will now be the first artist to appear on the newly launched label.
